Freedom of Speech and the Constitution By Anthony J. Fejfar, B.A., J.D., Esq., Coif © Copyright 2009 by Anthony J. Fejfar Generally, Freedom of Speech under the United States Constitution protects Free Speech from Government interference. Such protection is not enough. Private actors such as Opus Dei, the Nazi Party, the Communist Party, atheist materialist psychiatrists, and the Klu Klux Klan can wrongfully persecute an innocent person for exercising his or her Free Speech rights in violation of Natural Law. The United States Constitution must be amended to protect Freedom of Speech from interference by private persons and organizations, as well as by Government.
