Dear Ms Caroline, Greetings! It is a great privilege to invite your organization to work with us in a project dedicated to Filipino Youths. This upcoming 11 0800H February 2019, we will be launching the Classroom Leadership Training at Flores National High School, Brgy Flores, Umingan Pangasian which will be facilitated by Volunteers from Glocal Young Leaders Philippines. In this connection, may we request your presence as one of our speakers and facilitators in this 1-day leadership activity. Youth advocates from the 84th Infantry Battalion were also invited. The Glocal Young Leaders is a project founded by Five Young Southeast Asian Leadership Initiative from the Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar in partnership with the University of Nebraska at Omaha, USA and United States Embassy to the Philippines last September 2018. The goal of this project is to educate ASEAN youth on developing their leadership potential and discipline as well as providing career planning guidance. They will be trained as social change makers on their personal level and they will be guided to discover their inner strengths that will eventually introduce them to the community through civic engagement. The strategy for this project is ‘GLOCAL’ approach which will be a global platform where young local leaders can build a network with other nations while developing leadership, career and friendship. Likewise, we expect to reach out as much as young people from our country.
