Approval Note: Sub: Requirement for field persons multitasking at Lab. and at site for Field Quality Assurance. The Works are in full swing for 2 Units of 660 MW and the excavation is nearing completion for another 3 units of 660 MW. In quest to monitor and implement Field Quality, the need for supervision at site and witnessing the tests thereafter as per FQP is imperative and with the available staff allotted for FQA department the need has arisen to take services by engaging personnel in areas mentioned here under: The minimum qualification and experiences as per the field requirements shall be as enumerated against the respective positions: 1. Laboratory: Lab In-charge 1 No. Requirement: Must have deep and thorough knowledge of Field Quality Assurance tests of all disciplines i.e. Civil, Mechanical Electrical and Instrumentation. Minimum Qualification:Diploma in any discipline Experience: Minimum 2 years 2.Civil: Supervisors cum Technician [Quality] 1 No. Requirement: Must have deep and thorough knowledge of Field Quality Assurance tests of. Civil works. The work shall include tests conducted for Determination of proctor density of soil in backfilling, Cubes Compressive Strength, Physical and Chemical parameters of construction water for suitability in concrete works , Specific Gravity of coarse aggregates, Gradation Analysis of Fine and Coarse aggregates, Determination of Moisture Content of fine and coarse aggregates , Physical parameters of O.P.Cement , Physical parameters of rebars, casting of CC Cubes, Slump measurement, supervision of vibration during pour of any quantum and other tests required for assurance of Field Quality as had been required at site during the course of time. Minimum Qualification: ITI in Civil Engineering Experience: Minimum 2 years in any professional Laboratory carrying out such tests. Civil: Assistant Supervisor [Quality] 1 No. Requirement: Shall assist in conducting Quality Assurance and Implementation tests at Lab. and at site. Mechanical: Assistant Supervisor [Quality] 1 No. Requirement: Shall assist in conducting Quality Assurance and Implementation tests at Lab. and at site. Knowledge of computer operation shall be preferable Minimum Qualification: Class 12 with Knowledge of English 3.Electrical : Supervisors cum Technician [Quality] 1 No. Requirement: Must have deep and thorough knowledge of Field Quality Assurance and Implementation tests of requisite for Electrical works, Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience: Minimum 2 years at site conducting the tests. Electrical : Assistant Supervisor [Quality] 1 No. Requirement: Shall assist in conducting Quality Assurance and Implementation tests at Lab. and at site. Updating records of the receipt of testing equipments in lab. Knowledge of computer operation shall be preferable Minimum Qualification: Class 12 with Knowledge of English The request for hiring the services shall be raised at the junctures as per site requirements.
