FEVER 1
No matter what your attitude towards fever has been in the past, no matter what you have been led to believe fever is, we want you to know that FEVER is your friend. 2
We are not saying that fever is fun or something you should look forward to, we are saying that FEVER is an activity of the body initiated for the express purpose of protecting itself.
3
A fever mobilizes the body’s defenses.
4
When there is an emergency, such as an overaccumulation of toxins in the body, metabolism is accelerated by increasing the amount of heat available, thus enhancing the healing process. 5
Metabolism consists of the absorption of nutrients & the elimination of wastes (toxins).
6
The heat is necessary to accelerate the elimination of toxins which have accumulated beyond the body’s ability to tolerate them, & beyond the body’s ability to eliminate without some extraordinary modification (i.e., fever). 7
Heat acts as a catalyst which causes the toxins to liquefy & pass into the bloodstream, where they are transported to the organs of elimination (bowels,
8
Fever is no mystery.
9
On the contrary, it represents part of the magnificence of the human body, which no scientist or scientists, past or present, have been able to fully comprehend or explain.
10
It is the logical, explainable, totally understandable action of the supremely intelligent human body, merely using one of its numerous mechanisms to protect itself.
11
And yet, this ignorance around fever persists to this day. We know perfectly intelligent, reasonable people, who are panicstricken when their child
12
It’s off to the doctor for some drugs before the body burns itself up or causes brain damage.
13
The human body is not a stupid lump of clay; it’s intelligent beyond our comprehension.
14
The idea that the body would raise its own temperature until there was brain damage is one of the most ridiculous claims we have ever heard.
15
What do you think the chances are that the body, which is always producing blood, would forget to regulate its production & produce so much blood it drowns in it? 16
What do you think the chances are that the body, after digesting a meal, would forget to stop digesting and digest the stomach? 17
What do you think the chances are that the body, while inhaling & exhaling, all of a sudden forgot to stop inhaling & took in so much air that the
18
Ridiculous, absurd, outrageous, right? There’s no way.
19
Temperature regulation is one of the most basic & fundamental mechanisms of the human body.
20
It is initiated by the body, controlled by the body, & intelligently & carefully utilized as one of its primary defensive
21
The very suggestion that this exquisitely designed & managed mechanism of the body would be turned on to accomplish a lifesaving function, & then somehow not be
22
Is it really such a stretch to accept that such a fundamental mechanism as temperature regulation, something the body is involved in every second of your life, would be used as a tool to protect & preserve itself? 23
This simple, obvious explanation has confounded the greatest medical minds for centuries.
24
Don’t let it confound yours. 25
For so many years of our experience, we have never seen or even heard of a single person, young or old, who actually died from a fever, unless the fever patient was
26
A fever is used to facilitate the elimination of toxins.
27
In some instances the burden of a toxic drug with its own inherent side effects, added to the already existing burden of excess toxins in the body, will come together to injure or kill a fever patient.
28
It’s the drugs that killed and the fever that was blamed. 29
Do you know what the word “antibiotic” literally means?
“Against life!”
30
Do not fear a fever.
31
Know that it is one of the most common & obvious means by which the body protects itself.
32
A patient with a fever should take no drugs, eat very, very lightly (ideally fresh fruit & juices exclusively), drink pure water as desired, stay still, and allow the body to do what it is trying to do without interference. 33
The fever will then accomplish its intended task & subside.

As the lifespan progresses, the powers of healing diminish. An adult, for instance, can only rarely display the physiological vigor seen in an infant in regard to fever. A fever is a defensive measure intelligently initiated by the body. When the body raises its temperatures to higher levels, greater amounts of waste are burned up. An infant's healing power is so vigorous that it can raise the temperature to high levels in a short time. Yet an adult, whose healing powers are relatively
