Specializing in the production and supply of EPS, EPP and other foam mouldings for the Construction, Civil Engineering and Packaging Industries. • Established improvement / quality teams within production, engineering, QA, warehouse and logistics. • Operating a Quality Management System for the manufacture of EPS products for use in the construction and other industries. Certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2000. All insulation products are manufactured to BS EN 13163:2001. Certified by the British Board of Agreement where appropriate. • Increased productivity and quality that made us more competitive and brought in more work.

Watershed Plastics Ltd. Full of KPI responsibilities within storage equipment manufacturer: such as labour, material and machine performance, health and safety on time and in full delivery performance, personnel and recruitment. Reduced waste – the only waste now is residual paint left in the line between the mixing chamber and the spray gun mounting. Saved 15% in paint usage. Reduced scrap and transport cost by 5% Increased production by over 100% by introducing tight manufacturing controls and disciplines whilst creating new systems such as GMP standards and controls. Exceeded daily production targets and continually reducing downtime.

Rasti, (Scotland Ltd). General management responsibilities within manufacturing operation including production, distribution, purchasing, materials management, personnel, customer service to planning and facilitating service projects, (350 staff ). Purchase budget over £2 Million. • Instrumental in establishing this highly automated factory / production facility. (created a lot more space which enabled the whole factory be subsequently re-organised, incorporating more efficient work flow systems. Rationalised and up-skilled H.R. whilst maintaining business. Introduced new technology, processes and operational practices. Reduced costs by £1 Million p.a. Significantly reduced manual handling, environmental impact and exposure). • Advised on modifications that made the robots even more efficient. • Implemented ISO 9000 / 2000 quality procedures. • Introduced new products and established them on the Bill of Materials AS400 (MRP) system. • Trained the Technical Team Leaders in programming and operating the robots. • Oversaw Factory Automation at Hamilton. Improved both productivity and quality on conductive surface finishes. The installation was an outstanding success, doubling productivity and improving quality. Strategically positioned the machines to maximise efficiency that created a lot more space and enabled the whole factory to be subsequently re-organised, incorporating more efficient work flow systems. Warehouse: • Increased efficiency of warehousing, stock control, whilst increasing production. • Increased Stocktake accuracy levels to 0.001% • Identified and co-ordinated training needs for new warehouse staff, FLT drivers and pickers. • Instituted and developed new operational procedures, creating and managing new Team Leaders.
