CITY-SIFE EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS AND TEAM ROLE DETAILS TREASURER: Rose Gordon TREASURER TEAM This team is in charge of maintaining the City-SIFE Account and contacting sponsors for CitySIFE Projects. Members should contact the treasurer before spending for City-SIFE in order to ensure re-imbursement and ensure the City-SIFE Account balance is not overdrawn Treasurer Role and Tasks:  Keeping City-SIFE Account Updated  Contacting sponsors  Finding economical spending routes for members (e.g. low printing costs)  Contacting the Students Union to ensure the nature of spending by members is appropriate and will be reimbursed  Collecting proof of purchase (receipts and travel tickets) from members and fill in expenses claim form for members. This is to be submitted to the Students Union to obtain re-imbursement  Meet with committee to discuss issues Number of Team members: 2 Time involved: May vary; 2 hours per week

DIRECTOR OF DOCUMENTATION – Srishti Mittal DOCUMENTATION TEAM This team is in-charge of maintaining up-to-date details of City-SIFE Projects and sending Monthly newsletters to Business Advisory Board and City-SIFE Members, Preparing and writing the annual report for the national competition, Sending Updates to the I.T. Team in order to maintain citysife website. Writing meeting minutes and emailing members on meeting outcome and details on UPCOMING TEAM MEETINGS Director of Documentation Role and Tasks:  Keeping up-to-date record of project progress  Contacting project leaders to obtain project details  Writing and sending monthly newsletters to team members and Business Advisory Board  Maintaining meeting minutes  Emailing members on Tuesday’s meeting outcome and upcoming meetings  Meeting with team and allocating tasks  Meeting with team and writing the annual report for the national competition  Meeting with committee to discuss progress and issues Number of Team members: Maximum 4 Time involved: May vary; 2 hours per week

DIRECTOR OF IT OPERATIONS – Ali Rauf IT OPERATIONS TEAM his team is in-charge of maintaining the City-SIFE WEBSITE. This includes maintaining an up-to-date calendar of events and project details for members and non-members to access. Details of marketing and social events should also be maintained on the website. Director of Documentation Role and Tasks:  Keeping up-to-date record of project progress  Contacting project leaders to obtain project details  Writing and sending monthly newsletters to team members and Business Advisory Board  Maintaining meeting minutes  Emailing members on Tuesday’s meeting outcome and upcoming meetings  Meeting with team and allocating tasks  Meeting with team and writing the annual report for the national competition  Meeting with committee to discuss progress and issues Number of Team members: Maximum 4 Time involved: May vary; 2 hours per week

MARKETING DIRECTOR - YONATHAN ABRAHAM MARKETING TEAM This team is in-charge of executing activities that raise the awareness of City-SIFE and CitySIFE Projects. This may be through posters, fliers and marketing emails. The team is also responsible for organising the City-SIFE Stall during Re-fresher’s fayre and recruiting new members. In addition, the marketing team works with the Social events team to organise and market social events for members and (or) non-members; Marketing activities for commercial projects that is open to all university students is performed by the team. Send updates and pictures of social events to the I.T. Team to be displayed on the City-SIFE Website. Director of Documentation Role and Tasks:  Organise City-SIFE Marketing events with the team (work with social events team)  Arrange for and display City-SIFE Posters, hand out fliers or send marketing emails  Meet with team to arrange ways to market projects to raise the awareness of projects run by City-SIFE  Organise re-fresher’s fayre stall and ensure members have been allocated time-slots for the stall  Keep in contact with the Commercial Project leaders and Director of Social events to market the events open to members and non-members  Send details and Pictures of Social or Commercial Projects to Director of I.T. Operations to update these on the website  Meet with your team to allocate and discuss tasks  Meeting with committee to discuss progress and issues Number of Team members: Maximum 5 Time involved: May vary depending on events held; Approx. 2 hours per week

SOCIAL EVENTS DIRECTOR SOCIAL EVENTS TEAM This team is in-charge of organising social events for City-SIFE Members and (or) nonmembers. These may be team-building activities, developing skills or enjoyable social events for the team get to know each other. The team works with the marketing team to organise and market events for non-members as well to raise the awareness of City-SIFE and projects. Events may include fund-raising. Examples:     

Society meals “Activities” evening Enjoyable activities – Team Building Entrepreneurial/ leadership talks by external speakers Entrepreneurship skills day

Director of Documentation Role and Tasks:  Brainstorm ideas and organise social events  Work with marketing team to market the event and raise City-SIFE awareness  Keep members up to date with up-coming events  Keep in contact with the Commercial Project leaders and Marketing director in-case event involves fundraising and needs to be marketed to non-members  Send details and Pictures of Social events to Director of I.T. Operations to update these on the website  Meet with your team to allocate and discuss tasks  Meeting with committee to discuss progress and issues Number of Team members: Maximum 5 Time involved: May vary depending on events held; Approx. 2 hours per week
