Format The DAB is in a print version; 20 volumes of the original with 10 supplements extending up to the year 1980. Authority DAB is published by Scribner’s, one of the oldest and most venerable publishing houses in the U.S. (it was purchased by Gale a decade ago). Entries are signed by the authors.
