Hi Jane, A few more things about the Joe Cressy we know and love. We actually call him Joseph, He was a pretty good football and rugby player at North Toronto Collegiate. He did grade 12 in South Africa. He was an early young protester aginst the war in Iraq. His 3rd year at university was in Ghana, His first year after graduating was working on a major campaing against poverty back in South Africa. His meeting with Nelson Mandela is etched in his memory. From a distance he seems to be doing a pretty neat job for the Polaris Institute particularily on the "bottled water campaign" From our point of view working on a cause, being a social activist and being involed with politics is a worthy combination. . On top of all that he is kind, generous and can be very funny. If you wish to know more do let us know. Or you might want to make a site visit here and see first hand a a new YMCA in the making.
