Kevlar®繊維に対する電子線照射の影響 電子線照射は、Kevlar®繊維に悪影響を与えない。 図 2.10 に示すように、Kevlar®49 に 200 メガラド照射すると引張強度と弾性率ともわずかに増加する。
注）G.E.社のresonant transformer は、13.4 秒毎に１メガラドを発生させ るため、0.5mA,2MV で使用。サンプルフィラメントと線源との距離は 30cm。 サンプルはアルミホイルに包み、ドライアイス上に保持。
