TICKETS AND INFORMATION Our Tickets and Information office is located just inside Eden Court and is open each day from 10.00 until 21.00. Our staff will be pleased to offer advice, assistance and information on anything happening in and around Eden Court. Tickets can be booked or reserved in person, by phone or post, or online at www.eden-court.co.uk. We also have a Sales Desk in the Eastgate Shopping Centre. It is located on the ground floor beside the Café and is open from Monday to Saturday from 11.00 until 17.00, and from 12.00 to 16.00 every Sunday. Please note that all tickets bought for a one off class (which are on sale as a block) are subject to a 50p booking fee per session.
EDEN COURT FRIENDS In addition to many other benefits throughout the year, Eden Court Friends can benefit from discounts on all Regular Classes at Eden Court. Adult members will be entitled to £1.00 off per class, so a 10 session block costing £50.00 will be just £40.00 for Eden Court Friends. Children (who must be ‘Family Friends’) will be entitled to 50p off per class. These discounts apply only to classes that are booked as a block – not to individual sessions. Please note that Lunchtime Specials, Trailblazers and other ‘special events’ are excluded from this offer.

WELCOME To your brand new Classes and Activities guide for our Autumn 2009 term. In the pages that follow you’ll find a whole heap of things to do, for the whole family, right the way through to Christmas! We’ve brought back some old favourites like Bunny Beats, Tiny Tunes and the brilliant Baby Groove, plus there are some great new things too – including Giant Beans, specially for little ones who enjoyed Bouncin’ and Bigger Beans! We’ve a huge range of choices for adults, from Street Dance to Ballet and from Guitar to Capoeira – you’re sure to find something interesting, educational and enjoyable to help you while away the winter nights. As always, the Arts Education team have devised a number of cracking performances, including a reprisal of our incredibly popular ‘anti’ Christmas show, The Night Before Christmas, for those of you who say poo to pantos! Dance for adults with Physical Disabilities These dance sessions are led by dancer and theatre arts worker Ruby Worth and are aimed at adults (16+) with physical disabilities. BURSARY SCHEME TO ATTEND EDEN COURT CLASSES Eden Court wants to make access to our classes as easy as possible for children and adults. Our bursary scheme allows any adult or child to attend a block of classes for half price or a one-off event for free, if they are from a low income family or in receipt of any of the following benefits: Job Seekers Allowance ( income based ), Income Support, Disability Allowance, or Attendance Allowance. step Dance Elaine Adamson is the step dance tutor for these sessions and has performed with Heil’n’Toe. For this class you should wear hard soled shoes and loose clothing to learn the basics of Traditional Scottish step dancing. The class will be suitable for all abilities. Ballet for Improvers
Beginner’s Ballet
This is an improver’s level class for people who have over 2 years regular ballet experience. The class is taught by Louise Marshall, Eden Court’s Dance Artist.
Previously we’ve had one ballet class for all levels of experience but we are now introducing a beginners and improvers class. The beginners class is for anyone just starting out with less than two years experience. A wonderful class for all round fitness and great for toning up.

This class is only open to those who have already completed both the beginners and improvers classes in digital animation run by Fraser MacDonald for Eden Court over the last few terms. Very limited places so book early.
Want to play the guitar? Come along to our fun Sunday afternoon sessions and our tutor will provide you with the know-how. No matter what type of guitar or music you want to play these workshops are for you. No prior knowledge of reading music necessary. Bring your own guitar if you have one.

A basic Tai Chi class for beginners or improvers, led by experienced local tutor, Douglas Hardy. Douglas himself was trained by the world renowned Chanqvansyu School of Daoist Arts. Tai Chi is an excellent exercise for relaxing and using the body in a gentle and affirming way. Wear loose clothing and have bare feet.
Join tutor Diane Roberts for a class using Hatha Yoga techniques at a great time to relax on a Sunday morning. The class is open access for any level of participant and aims to increase good health and natural vitality. You should wear loose comfortable clothing and have bare feet.

TICKETS AND INFORMATION Our Tickets and Information office is located just inside Eden Court and is open each day from 10.00 until 21.00. Our staff will be pleased to offer advice, assistance and information on anything happening in and around Eden Court. Tickets can be booked or reserved in person, by phone or post, or online at www.eden-court.co.uk. We also have a Sales Desk in the Eastgate Shopping Centre. It is located on the ground floor beside the Café and is open from Monday to Saturday from 11.00 until 17.00, and from 12.00 to 16.00 every Sunday. Ever wanted to try singing opera and also experience being in one? Then come to this workshop and learn to sing and perform opera choruses as they would appear on stage. Pick up professional singing tips. Discover Donizetti, Rossini and their contemporaries as featured by Scottish Opera this autumn. Led by experienced, professional opera soprano, Moira Harris. Enjoy a 2 hour party with creative play at Little Eden, 1 hour of activities and some gorgeous healthy party food. You can bring your own cake and / or special decorations if you like. Eden Court parties are suitable for ages 2-11 and the cost is £10.00 per child.
The minimum number of children is 10 and maximum is 25 (however if you want to do a film party we can cater for more than 25). Parties are subject to availability and they take place in one of the fabulous Eden Court spaces.
