relationship of family members. The growing number of two career families and the increase in one parent families are outcomes of economic stress. Poverty is not new and has always been a problem for many lower-class families is now making inroads into the middle class. Though the years since the Second World War brought economic gains, poverty continues to grow.

BODY /CONTENT:

Children of the poor severely disantage in terms of health, nutrition, emotional growth and educational opportunities. At an early age, they are required to help, to support the family. And thus, exposed to objectionable and sometimes illegal and immoral influence. Many young girls must

marry early or work as domestics, waitresses, or entertainers in bars and restaurants to help, to support their families. Another questionable influence especially among adolescent’s boys is the barked, a gang relationship. Though the statistic are unreliable drug use among low income teenagers as shown various news paper report on crime is on rise. Traditionaly, the children’s role is to obey and not question, but this is changing. Today’s children are given a voice in family decisions. Girls are considered valuable as sets, while young; they give much joy and satisfaction. The children’s achievements provide the family w/ prestige enhance the family’s status in the community and give a sense of fulfillment to the parents. Siblings are hierarchically ordered/ the eldest receiving special preveleges.In the other end of spectrum the tyranny of the youngest.Olders sibling give into the whims and cap rises of the youngest.
