Dear Sirs Hull City Council – Letter of Commendation Project - Dorchester School PH1 Programme - Transforming our Primary Schools (ToPS) During 2007/08 Messrs Hobson and Porter were engaged by Hull City Council to undertake building works at Dorchester Primary School under the ToPS programme. The value of the works was in the order of £150,000.00 and centered on the need to reorganize the internal layout of the school to meet current standards and requirements. It was imperative that the works had to be undertaken during the summer holiday period and completed on time to allow the school to re-open at the start of the new academic year. This was a difficult project requiring meticulous planning and organization from the contractor. Hobson and Porter completed these works on time and on budget and their attitude throughout was cooperative and helpful drawing much praise from the school head and staff. A number of unforeseen events which could have derailed the project were dealt with immediately as they arose and in a professional manner which kept the project moving forward. This was a very successful project due in no small part to the professional approach and ethos of this company who have successfully undertaken a number of similar projects for the Council. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further information from me in this regard. Yours sincerely
