Dear Andrew I am happy to be able to furnish a reference for Hobson and Porter who completed work on our Integrated Children's Centre in December 2008. The building has been completed to a high standard and at all times I found the whole team to be professional, on hand to answer queries and to ensure that the build was finished with the minimum disruption to our working school Regards Sue The Headteacher [[email protected]]

Dear Sirs Hull City Council – Letter of Commendation Project - Dorchester School Programme – Phase 2 Children’s Centres During 2008/09 Messrs Hobson and Porter were engaged by Hull City Council to undertake building works at Dorchester Primary School to create a Phase 2 Children’s Centre. The value of the works was in the order of £650,000.00 and involved the construction of two new extensions to the school together with considerable internal reorganization. It was imperative that the works met an agreed and complex programme which was based around the dates of school terms and holidays. On-site activities had to be completed on time to allow the school to remain fully operational throughout. This was a difficult project requiring meticulous planning and organization from the contractor. Hobson and Porter completed these works on time and on budget and their attitude throughout was cooperative and helpful drawing much praise from the school head and staff. There were a number of unforeseen events and design changes which could have derailed the project but these were dealt with in a professional manner which kept the project moving forward. This was a very successful project due in no small part to the professional approach and ethos of this company who have successfully undertaken a number of similar projects for the Council. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further information from me in this regard. Yours sincerely Peter Latham-Warde Project Manager Hull City Council The KC Stadium West Park Walton Street Hull HU3 6HU
