notes
Be original, very creative and experimental. Don’t copy what’s out there--it already exists. Use your imagination. Have ideas. Have big ideas. Inspiration comes from a wellfed imagination. Feed your mind with many visual things by visiting exhibitions, visiting the library and seeking out visual culture. Retain what you have been taught. Your lessons are the building blocks of your future creative careers. Learn about, and be inspired by the history of design. Learn from your successes and your mistakes. Learn to present your ideas well. Visually and verbally. Learn to talk about your work with confidence.
