Independent Variables
Dependent Variables
Independent Variables Distance • The span between the two communicating transceivers.
Ambient Light • The amount of light present in the environment (regardless of its source).
Dependent Variables Reception Error • The percentage of unreceived characters from the transmitted message.
Decoding Error • The percentage of incorrectly decoded characters from the transmitted message.
Dependent Variables Illuminance of the Laser • The amount of light (from the laser) striking on the surface of the receiver’s light sensor. Time Delay
• The actual time delay between the transmission of the message and the retrieval. Cost • The expenses of building the working project.
