This Week's Lesson: Founding • Delta Upsilon was founded on November 4, 1834 in Williamstown, Massachusetts at Williams College. • It was a dark and dreary night. • Delta Upsilon is the first non-secret fraternity. • We are the Psi Nu Sigma chapter of Delta Upsilon. • 1919: Psi Nu Sigma is founded. • DU Psi Nu Sigma was colonized March 4, 1933. • Our charter was suspended in 2000 for drugs ▪ We had the third largest coke ledgers and dealt the most coke out of one house in Washington state. ▪ Jason Clark (our former President) had us shut down in order to preserve our integrity. • We were reinstated in 2001. • Delta Upsilon has one of the largest Greek presences in Canada. • We are Province 13 ▪Consists of WSU, UW, Oregon, Oregon State, and the Alberta chapter.
