OBJECTIVE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE: • To study about common investors awareness regarding the different concepts and terminology of mutual funds. GENERAL OBJECTIVES: • To study the terms and concepts used in mutual funds. • To see effect of financial literacy on the profitability to the customers. • To know the effect of financial literacy on profitability and market share of the company. • To know the effect of financial literacy on the profitability of the brokers.
METHODOLOGY Primary Data: Questionnaire Secondary Data SAMPLING • SAMPLING TECHNIQUE: Random sampling • SAMPLE SIZE: Sample size will be fifty.

RESEARCH PLANNED FOR • To know literacy levels through questionnaire. • To go through the secondary data. • Combine analysis of primary and secondary data.
PROGRESS OF THE REPORT Secondary Data Analysis: • Awareness about concept and terminology plays a great role in growth of returns. Primary Data Analysis: • 30 investors out 50 are interviewed through questionnaire method. • 18 invested with knowledge • 12 invested without any knowledge
PROGRESS….. • 18 investors got higher returns than 12 investors. Reasons: • Having more knowledge about the funds and their terminology. • More awareness about the exit and entry loads on the funds. • Having more experience in investment. • Having knowledge of stock market.

CONCLUSION Till date the secondary data and primary data shows that awareness about the terms and concepts of mutual funds has given benefit to the investor in terms of higher returns. There is a statistically significant, positive relationship between financial literacy and the likelihood of investing .
