GENERAL ENGLISH
Our core language course consists of four lessons running from 9.45 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., with a break of fifteen minutes, Monday to Friday. Afternoons are left free for study, shopping or touring. During the summer months there is an optional afternoon/evening activities programme available. A preparatory lecture and tour guide are provided free of charge. Students have to pay the entrance fee into the activities which is normally £1£3. Some locations, however, are free of charge. Emphasis is placed on all four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - with a balance of language structure (grammar) and practical use. Our General English Course is offered at all competency levels. It aims to increase the learner’s confidence in communicating effectively in English, while ensuring that classes are enjoyable and educationally stimulating. INTENSIVE COURSES
These classes are ideally suited to students who wish to maximise their language acquisition during their stay in Ireland.
Class times are 9:45 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 16:15, Monday to Friday, with a fifteen minute break within each period. Emphasis is placed on all four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing - with a balance of language structure (grammar) and practical use. The maximum advantage from studying English in an English speaking environment underlines the content and pace of this course.
