Dry Ice Technology at its Best Refresh Your Mind

What do you need to make Dry Ice? Liquid CO2, stored under pressure between 12 – 22 bar in a speciall designed CO2 Storage Tank. The insulation can be vacuum or with a PU-insulation.

Tanks are available as vertical or horizontal storage tanks.

Installations of a CO2-Storage Tank?

Process of making dry ice. Liquid CO2 suddendly depressurized under atmospheric condition will transform into dry ice and gaseous CO2. The conversion ratio is 40-45% Dry Ice and the rest is CO2-Gas. A conversion ratio higher than 45% will only be achieved on laboratories condition. The CO2Gas can be recovered. Dry Ice Snow will then mechanically be pressed to form slices, blocks or pellets win various diameters called Pellets.

TWIN-ICE and TRIPLE-ICE producing dry ice for e.g. to cool food for the airline catering services

Dry Ice Slices with a thickness between 18 - 25 mm and a Dimension of e.g. 150x150x18-25 are used to cool the food and drinks in the airline trolleys.

Whenever you will be taking your next flight, dry ice has been responsible for your refreshment drin and delicious food.

TRIPLE-ICE100 Pelletizer 400kg/hr High dense slices / blocks and pellets with a diameter of 3 and 16mm

TRIPLE-ICE400 Pelletizer 800kg/hr High dense slices / blocks and pellets with a diameter of 3 and 16mm

Dry Ice Wrapping System: Type FP44 Every dry ice slice which is used for the Airline Catering must be supplied wrapped in bags. As the slices are very thin (20mm) the handling is very delicate. Breakages can be avoided completely by choosing the right machine. CTS is able to offer complete wrapping solutions. Designed and made according to customer’s request and dry ice capacity. We offer full service also on turn-key basis.

Multi Flexibility on smallest area !

Dry Ice Slice will be stored in the top draw of the trolley

The total solution for Airline Catering Optimized, minimal work space for a complete Dry Ice Production Site. 2 Dry Ice Machines and 2 Dry Ice Wrapping Units with a 50% redundancy in production capacity. Example: 460kg/hr Dry Ice Slices 11’040 kg Dry Ice per day 3’090 tons of dry ice / year (calculated with 280 days)
