CRITICAL REFLECTION From my perspective, bullying is not acceptable and it never will be. I think that the people who bully other people are just insecure and just want to feel above someone that is clearly weaker than they are. Furthermore, maybe they also don't feel good about themselves. Sometimes they are continuing the cycle, by repeating what they have been through. Either way, what they say to you is usually a reflection of how they feel about themselves and they are just projecting it onto you. As a teacher to be, I take the bullying issue very seriously because I do not think that children or anyone should turn to violent means because of someone being mean to them for no reason. Victims of bullying can also be anybody, of any age and can be male or female. How do victims get picked? They could be anyone who’s either just in the wrong place at the wrong time or anyone who’s regarded as a “loser.” In general, there are two types of victims: passive victims and resistant victims. Based on my reading from website https://nobullying.com/why-bully/ , there are so many factors that can go into the reasons someone chooses to bully others. So, Why Bully? Some of the reasons why bullying takes place include institutional and cultural causes as well as social and family issues. The personal history of someone who bullies others is also a reason why they do so. It is not uncommon for kids to bully other kids in order to feel like they have some power in this world. Institutional causes of bullying often come from a home environment or a school environment where the standards are not very high when it comes to how people treat each other. Social issues come into play within the subject of bullying because the kids doing it know that it will get them attention that they desperately crave. Since the world is a place where negative actions get more attention than positive actions do bullies are inspired to participate in these negative actions. School aged kids often turn to bullying because they think it will elevate their social status. They think that by bullying classmates that aren’t well liked or well known makes them cooler in the eyes of their peers. Based on my reading from a book entitled Thirteen Reasons Why written by Jay Asher, it is the story of a young high school student as she descends into despair brought on by betrayal and bullying, culminating with her suicide. She details the thirteen reasons why in an audio diary which was mailed to a friend two weeks after her death. In this book we can see the role play from our friends is very important especially when they need someone to share their problem, so if you have a friend who have a problem or been bullied , listen and be the voice that can stop them from been bullied. Secondly, even if you are the teacher, you have to pay a good attention for this issues. So from the book, I can conclude that bullying is so harm because it can makes the bullied see no worth in themselves and no way out of their torment

and decided to commiting suicide. Every little thing that we say and do makes an impact on someone. Even the most insignificant actions can change someone’s perspective, can cause them to shut down, or come out of their shell. Finally, the newspaper, Star Online mention that bullying are not only harm to the bullied but those who bully others.. For example, students who persistently bully others have been found bringing harm to themselves as the five Malaysian National Defence University students were jointly charged with murdering Zulfarhan Osman Zulkarnain, 21, under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries the mandatory death penalty. To summarize, based on my reading from three sources, I can conclude that bullying is not an answer for showing strength against the weak. This is because bullying is serious issues and never be a positive action but will stay as negative action.
