Criterion B: Analysis Proposed solutions: ● Flyers for members to give out to friends and family ● Website using the software on my computer eg. Microsoft Word, Notepad, Adobe Dreamweaver ● Pre-designed web-based templates

After discussing all the solution and considering the pros and cons, we have chosen to create a website. The website will be made using Wix, since it is user-friendly for people without a lot of coding experience. A website is a cost-effective way to reach many people quickly. It would also help reach people that may not have normally been reached by just word of mouth. My website will service as a model for what the website may look like, after it is complete, the committee already working on a website will use it to draw inspiration. Additionally, after my IA is complete I will continue to help with the website by being a part of the team to create the final product is complete. Requirement specification

IT System requirements ● Hardware: A Laptop/PC with an internet connection, a flash drive for backup, Digital Camera for taking pictures for the website, SD card for the camera ● Software: Web browser (i.e.Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox), Photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop System interaction ● Make sure that the website works in a range of browsers such as Google Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer ● The website would need to work with the software on the ISP server Input/ Output requirements Input Requirements

● Information about the church, such as ministries, service times, upcoming events, etc. will be provided by Luis ● Images will be provided by Luis and the person who handles social media. Additionally, some will be taken with a digital camera Output Requirements ● Sections of the website to include ministries, upcoming events, home page, services, and contact information. ● Images and texts need to be displayed in the browser ● Consistent page layout with organizational colors and images Processing ● Clicking on the images to generate a full-size image. ● Clicking on the e-mail link will generate a blank email ● Clicking on menu items to navigate through the website ● Clicking on the social media icons will direct you to the social media pages ● Being able to translate the page between English and Spanish Security ● Not sharing the privileges of the website to the public ● The website administrative tools are secured by username and password. Specific performance criteria to test functionality To measure the effectiveness of the website a. Provide an easily navigable system to showcase information about the church b. To create a website that has a consistent style throughout c. To create a website that provides an easy way to contact Luis with questions about the church d. All links on the website are able to open easily and quickly e. Google Maps of the church

Justification of the chosen solution

We believe that a website will be the best way to convey information about the church and will hopefully draw more people to the church since prospective members will have an idea of what the church is like. This website will be used as a prototype for the group already on the website to use as a model, it will not be connected to the domain until the committee incharge of multimedia/social media has approved. A website will provide the church with a cost-effective way to reach a large group of people in their nearby area. If the other option of flyers were to be used, the church would still largely be relying on word of mouth as it is now. Which has not brought as many new members as they have wanted. Additionally, printing large amounts of flyers will be costly as they will need large supplies of paper and ink. It will also not have the space that is needed to convey all the information that Pastor Luis wants to convey. We also felt that creating a website is a better solution than using a template since it will give more flexibility to cater the website to the needs of the church. The website will be updated to show upcoming events that the church will have. It will provide potential members with things such as address, contact information, and general information. This would help the church reach people that they may not have reached otherwise. Also, a website would provide people with more detailed information than a poster/flyer. Additionally, after the IA the website will continue to be updated. I have chosen to do this as I believe that it is important for the website to cater to the client’s needs. I have used Adobe Photoshop before at school, and could use the software at school or I could download it on my computer. Additionally, I will use Wix ADI, which uses AI to help build a website by using things about the company that are already established, such as social media. Word Count: 344
