Preparations Circuits must be prepared before the students enter the gym
Foreseeable Concerns Students not using the equipment properly throwing balls/bean bags in the wrong places Students not wanting to participate
Differentiation Provide smaller hula hoops to make the targets smaller for the throwing activity
Activity Introduction: Students run around the gym 3 times and the class does stretches together in the middle of the gym.
Activity: Students are divided into three groups and are assigned to a station. The first station is throwing bean bags into the hula hoop targets. The second station is students throwing soft balls into a small basketball net. The third station is students learning how to throw a soft frisbee. Educators will circulate to help students with the proper throwing skills.
Winding Down Consolidation: Ask students if they enjoyed the stations/ what they found difficult Do a breathing exercise with the students to calm them down before returning to the class Next Steps for Teacher

Differentiation Ask an SK to help any JK’s who are having difficulty following the game
Activity Introduction: Students run around the gym 3 times and the class does stretches together in the middle of the gym. Activity: Remind children of stop and go signals. ( Stop music stops, Go music on) Scatter hoops in play area. As music is played children skip, hop, gallop, skate around hoops. When the music stops, each child finds a hoop to stand in. Gradually take away hoops, until four to six hoops remain. Children share their space in the hoop with others, so that no one is left out.

Activity Introduction: Students run around the gym 3 times and the class does stretches together in the middle of the gym. Activity: Place several different halloween themed photos around the gym, either taped to the floor or hung on the wall.. At least three copies of each photo to help disperse the students. Review the french names for the photos with the students before starting the game. Call out a way of moving, such as hopping, skipping or running. Call out a halloween photo The kindergarten students move in the stated way to get to the specified letter.
