EARTH:- Earth, one of nine planets in the solar system, the only planet known to harbor life, and the “home” of human beings. About 71 percent of Earth’s surface is covered by water, which is essential to life. The rest is land, mostly in the form of continents that rise above the oceans.
CRUST:-
Crust, outermost layer of Earth. The crust is solid and
relatively thin, and it lies below both landmasses and oceans.
MANTLE:-
Mantle, region of the interior of the earth that lies between
the outer crust and the core.
CORE:-
Core, innermost part of Earth. The core of Earth extends from
beneath the mantle to the very center of the planet.
