1. Do you think the Communicative Approach is suitable in our pedagogical practice? Why? Because the students will play an active role in the whole process, so that later they can build their own knowledge. With this active method of teaching teachers we hope that students develop autonomous learning through discovery, that they learn to learn. In group activities it is necessary to exchange roles or functions among students and encourage their active participation in the different communicative situations that are proposed. Groups will also vary to avoid monotony and to provide greater interaction among its members. Cooperative learning, based on the negotiation of meanings among students, will be another of the didactic aspects that will be taken into account to favor communication. 2. Which techniques of the Communicative Approach can you apply in your English class? Why?  Conversations  Dialogues  Interviews  Pair work  Group work  Brings opportunity for speaking practice  Represents real communication  Fosters motivation

Because today, the focus on learning and teaching a second language is broad and flexible enough to meet the educational needs of a wide variety and diversity of students in the classroom. The students are quite heterogeneous with regard to both their competence and their motivation. It is difficult to cover different levels and rhythms of learning, but everything is achieved with patience and resources that allow us to adapt and integrate, as far as possible, the interests of the students, the didactic contents proposed by the law as well as the ratio of the students and the atmosphere of the class.
