PRINCIPAL QUESTIONS 1.Why were the Israelites to build the tabernacle? A.) The Lord desired to live amongst them. - In the garden of Eden the sin of our fore-father; Adam and our mom Eve separated us from complete fellowship and access to our heavenly Father. And even though God had to discipline our rebellion, His amazing love towards us compelled Him to not deal with us as we deserved but instead He pursued a love relationship with us and He still does that today.

2. What is the human heart like apart from fellowship with God? A.) Jeremiah 17:9 says, “the heart is more deceitful than anything else”. and Matthew 15:19 says, “For out of the heart comes evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony and slander”.

3. How did God respond at what He saw at the Tower of Babel? A.) God determined that what ever a group unified decided they would do, nothing could stand in their way. Except of course divine intervention. This does not mean that their ability would be limitless but that we when unified would try just about anything. So the Lord confused their language and scattered them across the face of the earth. Unity + Pride = Insurrection and Rebellion Ex: Homosexual agenda Abolishing prayer in schools, etc. Unity + Humility = Reconciliation and Healing Ex: 9/11 & Katrina

When we come together we can accomplish great things.

4. What did God preach to Abraham? A.) The gospel of Jesus Christ Abraham and Isaac was a foreshadowing of what God would do through Jesus.

ABRAHAM→ISAAC→SACRIFICE ( RAM) GOD THE FATHER→JESUS CHRIST→SACRIFICE (the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world) John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
