Now let’s use some more interesting versions of a couple of chords.
Here is a neat little trick I like to do to dress this thing up. Hammer on while playing the C#m chord. You can use 1 finger, the 2nd. For braver folks, hammer on with all three fingers. When playing A, I like to turn it into a sus chord by adding my pinky. I can do the same with E. With B11, I like to play the first three strings. Practice these patterns, then twist them around and make them your own. There isn’t any right or wrong here. Be creative and make
musical sense, or do what I like to call playing with musical intent.
