Prices and Terms Our prices are subject to change without notice. The price in effect when we receive your order will apply. All prices are F.O.B. Palatine, Illinois. We will be pleased to furnish quotations by phone, fax, e-mail or mail. Terms of payment are Net 30 days with established credit, or by Visa/Master Card at time of order. Invoices over 30 days past due are subject to a 1.5% finance charge per month. Confirming Orders Please make sure that all confirming orders are clearly marked to avoid duplicate orders. Shipments and Delivery Unless otherwise instructed, shipments are made as soon as possible after receipt of order by the method of transportation, which in our judgment will be most satisfactory. Freight charges are prepaid and added to the invoice. The right is reserved to make partial shipments where delays beyond our control may delay a portion of the order. Export Processing and Pricing The prices in the Domestic price list are for delivery in the USA. Orders for delivery to other countries will be based on Export price list. Returned Items Authorization must be obtained from us before returning any goods. When requesting return authorization, please advise reason for return, date of purchase, your P.O. number and our invoice number. Equipment produced to special specifications is not returnable. All returns must be shipped freight prepaid at the purchase’s expense. Warranty Clean Air Engineering warrants products to be free from defects and workmanship for a period of one year after delivery date. The sole and exclusive remedy for defective goods shall be repair or replacement of defective parts or payment price of the goods for which damages are claimed, at Clean Air Engineering’s option. Design Changes Design changes are made from time to time. Some items may differ slightly from catalog illustrations or descriptions. Changes are made in the interest of better performance and quicker delivery. CleanAir Express products are guaranteed to give you 100% satisfaction in every way. Return any CleanAir Manufactured products to us at any time if it proves otherwise. We will repair it, replace it, or refund the original purchase price. We do not want you to own any Clean Air Express product unless you are completely satisfied.

OUR FIELD EMERGENCY SERVICE

CleanAir Express will ship, overnight and at our expense, any CleanAir Express component to complete your testing in the event of equipment failure. We will do this for any location in the U.S. via Fed Ex Priority Overnight ®. In addition we will also provide a replacement for any competing Method 5 equipment that is compatible with Clean Air components. This service is provided free of charge to any past or future Clean Air customers. We only request that you return the equipment as soon as possible with a brief explanation of the problem you encountered and any ideas you have on how it can be prevented.

The Method 3 INDUSTRO-B is a simplified instrument for the rapid and accurate field analysis of gas mixtures. For the determination of carbon dioxide, oxygen and carbon monoxide in gas mixtures. Commonly used in the analysis of chimney gases for the regulation of combustion in coal-, oil-, and gas-fired furnaces. It can also be used for combustion control, furnace atmosphere analysis, air-leak detection, research and plant control, calibration of control instruments, and EPA testing. Tedlar® Bags are referenced for many EPA methods, including Methods 3, 18 and 40.

Unlike other sample bag materials, Tedlar® film resists gas permeation - both into and out of the bag, assuring sample integrity for all applications. Tedlar® is rated for continuous use from -98 to 225 F. This wide range of operation allows for use in very cold or very hot environments including stacks, vents, and flues. Tedlar® film is inert to a wide range of chemicals.

*Note: We recommend shipping filled Tedlar® bags in a rigid carton to prevent damage/discharge during shipping. Do not ship sample bags by air unless the cargo cabin is pressurized. Do not overfill sample bags - avoid filling the bag to more than 80% of its maximum volume. At the end of the sampling period, turn the Standard Roberts pump off and close the valve on the bag. The Clean Air Method 5 Train is the benchmark of the industry. It is suited to perform isokinetic particulate testing Referencing Federal EPA 40 CFR 60, Appendix A, Method 5 -“Determination of Particulate Emissions From Stationary Sources.” Other pollutants can be collected in the impinger portion of the system providing the proper reagent is utilized. A Method 5 Train is the basic equipment for several EPA Reference Methods. Ask your Clean Air Express customer Service Representative for details on the accessories needed to perform Methods 4, 5, 6, 8, 8A, 5I, 17, 23, 26, and 29.

The Method 5 Cateco Sampling Train is similar to the Method 5 train except that it replaces the Modular Sample Unit with a more versatile Cateco Heated Filter Unit. Separating the probe and heated filter from the glassware makes this train ideal for testing vertical and hard to access locations. The Clean Air Cateco Method 5 Train is suited to perform isokinetic particulate testing Referencing Federal EPA 40 CFR 60, Appendix A, Method 5 -“Determination of Particulate Emissions From Stationary Sources.” Other pollutants can be collected in the impinger portion of the system providing the proper reagent is utilized. The Clean Air Express SO3 Controlled Condensation System is designed to allow the separation of H2SO4 from SO2 by cooling the gas stream below the dew point of H2SO4 but above the H2O dew point. Applicable for method 8A Determination of Sulfuric Acid Vapor or Mist (including Sulfur Trioxide) and Sulfur Dioxide Emissions from Kraft Recovery Furnaces. The condenser utilizes a straight quartz tube filled with quartz wool surrounded by a temperature regulated water bath. No recirculation pump or external water heaters are required. The system works in conjunction with standard Method 5 Isokinetic Control Consoles and Heater Controllers. Temperature Regulator Water Bath sold seperately.

The JES 300 series heated gas sample probes are designed for continuous use with extractive sampling systems—even where the sample contains dust, aerosols, water vapor and corrosive gases and in situations where the gas must be kept free of contaminants prior to hot analysis or sample conditioning. The JES 300 incorporates a non-corrosive heated, replaceable ceramic filter element with a filter porosity of 2 microns. The filter is mounted in an electrically heated, stainless steel housing. The filter housing is thermally insulated and enclosed in a weatherproof case. The JES 300 uses a microprocessor-based temperature controller. The temperature controller is user-selectable from 32° F to 375° F.

The Clean Air Express CEM Heated Filter Probe has an integral filter chamber that will accept a glass fiber filter cartridge or a stainless steel sintered frit. Two stages of filtration may be achieved by using an in-stack course 20-micron SS frit on the probe end and a fine .02-micron filter in the chamber. The probe and filter chamber are heated by the same reliable high temperature cable heater eliminating the need for multiple temperature controllers. An optional in-line self-regulating (275 °F) temperature control may be incorporated into the power cord making the heated filter probe totally self contained and easy to use. • •

The ECOM-AC (Plus) is a portable unit for the quick measurement of O2, CO, temperature, NO and NO2. The microprocessor will calculate CO2 and combustion efficiency. Silicone Rubber: Two layers of silicone rubber infused with fiberglass are vulcanized together and enclose the multiple strand wire resulting in a rugged yet flexible sheath with excellent moisture, chemical and wear resistance. Maximum temperature rating for the heat tape is 500 °F. The thickness of the flexible silicone rubber heater is 0.06”. The industrial heaters have silicone insulated wire leads of 2’ @ 18AWG.
