Christ Reveals His Soon Coming and Revelation’s Glorious rapture DANIEL CHAPTER 2 The Bible says that, “…Faith cometh by hearing…the word of God.” (Rom 10:17) Hence without the word of God there can be no faith and since the most important thing to have, as a Christian is faith – for by it we have access into the grace of God that saves us! (Rom 5:1, 2; Eph 2:8) – then it is important that we know and are convinced that this Bible that we have is indeed the very word of the living God. This is just what this study shall prove and assure us of. Indeed it is the clearest and most straightforward of all the prophecies in the Bible and shall assure us of the certainty of the glorious future. Read the second chapter of Daniel verse 2-30. Then king Nebuchadnezzar commanded the astrologers, the magicians, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans to show him the dream and make known its interpretation. When they could not, he was so furious he commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. This is when Daniel (by now accounted as the wise men of Babylon) asked the king to give him time and he would show him the dream. Daniel then makes the thing known to his three friends, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. They pray to God to reveal to them the dream of king Nebuchadnezzar. God reveals to them the dream and Daniel goes in before the king to show him the dream and the interpretation. Verse 31: Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee: and the form thereof was terrible. 32 This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arm’s of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, 33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. 34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. 35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. 36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. BABYLON (609-539 B.C.): is symbolised by the head of gold, to which Nebuchadnezzar was the ruler of: Says Daniel, “Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. 38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. (Dan 2:37,38).” We know that the kingdoms here spoken of are world empires for the scripture states, “...wheresoever the children of men dwell...” and that Nebuchadnezzar was “...ruler over them all.” MEDO-PERSIA (539-331 B.C.): is symbolised by the breast and arms of silver: Daniel continues, “And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth (Dan 2:39).” The Bible itself tells us which kingdom overthrew Babylon. “...Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and the Persians. 29 Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom. 30 In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. 31 And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old. (Dan 5:28-31) GREECE (331-323 B.C.): is symbolised by the belly and thighs of brass. This was to be the third kingdom to arise after Medo-Persia, which was to “bear rule over all the earth.”(Dan 2:39) Another clear indication the powers in question are world empires. The Bible again furnishes us with the kingdom that sacked Medo-Persia. “And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and he touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. And he came to the ram...and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him...Therefore the he goat waxed very great.” (Dan 8:5-8) “The RAM which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of MEDIA and PERSIA. 21 And the rough GOAT is the king of GRECIA: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king. (Dan 8:20-21) 1
ROME (168 B.C.- 476 A.D.): is symbolised by the legs of iron. This was the fourth kingdom, said to be the strongest most violent of the preceding kingdoms. (Dan 2:40) Did Rome rule the world? “And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (Luke 2:1) To be able to tax the whole world, you must first rule “all the world”, in order that all should obey your decrees. Augustus Caesar was a Roman emperor. That’s crystal clear. THE TEN KINGDOMS- EUROPE (476 A.D.- NOW!): is symbolised by the feet and toes that were part of iron and part of clay. Here a division is represented; and what have we in the symbol to indicate it? - Nothing but the toes of the image. “And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of he strength of iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.” (Dan 2:41) The kingdom of Rome fell and was divided unto the barbarian tribes of the north. The division of Rome began around A.D. 351 and closed in the year 476. In the year 476 A.D. Rome had been completely divided into ten separate kingdoms; these were: Allemanni (Germans), the Visigoths (Spanish), the Franks (French), the Seuvi (Portuguese), the Burgundians (Swiss), the Anglo-Saxons (English), and the Lombards (Italians). Three of which no longer exist, the Heruli, Vandals, and the Ostrogoths (Daniel chapter 7 is a prophecy which directly parallels this one, and the fourth beast/kingdom [Rome] had ten horns which specifically denoted the “ten kings” that should arise after it [Dan 7:24]). United Europe? (Present): And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. Another fascinating fulfilment of these ten kings is the work they shall pursue towards unity. To mingle means literally to mix, while the term ‘seed of men’ refers to offspring of men, or children. (See Gen 4:25; 9:9; 12:7; 13:15, 16; 15:3-18; 16:10; 17:6-10 etc.) To cleave means to be joined as one! (Gen 2:24; Lev1:17; Deu 13:4; 28:21; Psa 22:15) Therefore if we see the kings of divided Europe attempting to unite themselves together as one by all inter-marrying with each other’s offspring, praise God for His sure word of prophecy. Royal intermarriage is the practice of members of royal families marrying into other royal families. It was more commonly done in the past for reasons of state and in order to maintain the purity of bloodlines. Historically, royal marriages often sealed alliances or pacts, and were instrumental in many countries' diplomatic relations. Over many generations, intermarriage between royals came to a point where most royals became related to all other royals…A well-known example of royal intermarriage and interrelation today is that of: 1. Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and 2. Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh (born a Prince of Greece and Denmark). Prince Philip is the son of 3. Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark and 4. Princess Alice of Battenberg, whose mother 5. Princess Victoria of Hesse and by Rhine and paternal grandfather 6. Prince Alexander of Battenberg, were both members of the same paternal family. Princess Alice's father's brother, 7. Prince Henry of Battenberg, meanwhile, married 8. Princess Beatrice (a daughter of Elizabeth II's great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria). Their daughter, 9. Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg married 10. King Alfonso XIII of Spain and her grandson, the present king; 11. Juan Carlos married 12. Princess Sophia of Greece & Denmark whose father was a cousin of Prince Philip of Duke and Edinburgh. Alternatively, Queen Elizabeth's great-great-grandfather, 13. King Christian IX of Denmark, was also Prince Philip's great-grandfather. They are also related several times through 14. Princess Sophia, Electress of Hanover.

Just to illustrate the diversity of royal blood. (Reading from top left.) 1. Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom (English) 2. Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh (Greek) 3. Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark (Greek/Dutch) 4. Princess Alice of Battenberg (English) 5. Princess Victoria of Hesse and by Rhine (English/German) 6. Prince Alexander I of Battenberg (Bulgarian) 7. Princess Beatrice (English) 8. Victoria Eugenie Of Battenberg (Scottish) 9. King Alfonso XIII of Spain (Spanish) 10. Juan Carlos I of Spain (Roman/Italian) 11. Princess Sophia of Greece and Denmark (Greek/Dutch) 12. King Christian IX of Denmark (German) 13. Princess Sophia, Electress of Hanover (Dutch). This is only a portion of the royal family according to Great Britain. But as you can clearly see all the kings of Europe are mingling themselves to secure this unity, which they have never ceased from attempting. Listen to this quote by Winston Churchill, former prime minister of England (and 33° Freemason) during the Second World War. "I wish to speak to you today about the tragedy of Europe. Yet all the while there is a remedy which, if it were generally and spontaneously adopted by the great majority of people in many lands, would as if by a miracle transform the whole scene, and would in a few years make all Europe, or the greater part of it, as free and as happy as Switzerland is today. What is this sovereign remedy? It is to recreate the European Family, or as much of it as we can, and to provide it with a structure under which it can dwell in peace, in safety and in freedom. We must build a kind of United States of Europe. The first step in the recreation of the European Family must be a partnership between France and Germany." (Winston Churchill Speech at Zurich University 19th September 1946)

EU leaders sign new constitution: The treaty was signed where the old Treaty of Rome was signed! European Union leaders have signed the new EU constitution in a lavish ceremony held in Rome. Heads of state and government took it in turn to sign the text in the same room where the Treaty of Rome was signed to establish the EU in 1957. (Newsrss.bbc.co.uk Friday 29th 2004) The Treaties of Rome: On 25th March 1957, two treaties were signed in Rome that gave birth to the European Economic Community (EEC) and to European Energy Atomic Community (Euratom): The signatories of the historic agreement were Christian Pineau on behalf of France, Joseph Luns from the Netherlands, Paul Henri Spaak from Belgium, Joseph Bech from Luxemburg, Antonio Segni from Italy and Konrad Adenauer from the Federal Republic of Germany. The Treaties were ratified by National Parliaments over the following months and came into force on 1st
January 1958. The Treaty establishing the EEC affirmed in its preamble that signatory States were "determined to lay the foundations of an ever closer union among the peoples of Europe". In this way, the member States specifically affirmed the political objective of a progressive political integration. (www.historiasiglo20.org) Isn’t that amazing. There have only ever been four world empires since the time of Babylon, and these things were written over two thousand years before the actual events took place! There is no other book on the planet that equals the Bible in so accurately foretelling the future. God said Rome would fall to exactly ten kings and it happened to the letter! He then said that Europe will try to unite, or as the bible puts it, “...they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another…” and this continues to take place right before us. Ever since Pagan Rome fell, they have tried to unite Europe, and the simple reason why they cannot is because God has said, “…THEY SHALL NOT CLEAVE ONE TO ANOTHER.” And that prophecy has stood for more than two thousand years. Do you want to know what remains to be fulfilled? Whilst these kings seek unity and peace…

THE GOD OF HEAVEN SETS UP HIS KINGDOM: This is symbolised by the stone being cut out of a mountain without hands, smashing the image upon his feet, thus causing the entire image to be destroyed and blown away with the wind. The stone itself becomes a great mountain filling the whole earth. “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it break in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.” (Dan 2:44-45) How do we know that this will happen of a certainty? Because God said Babylon would fall, it did. He said MedoPersia would fall and it did. He said the same of the Grecian Empire and that of Rome. And he now says that the kingdoms of this world shall be destroyed when He shall set us His Kingdom when He comes with ‘…power and great glory.’ (Mat 24:30) How will God come the second time? There are five facts about Jesus’ second advent. It is important to know these facts as there are many deceptions being taught and believed. It will be: 1. Literal Acts 1:9-11 (Luke 24:39-43, 51). Just as they saw him go up into heaven – in a literal, physical body – is the same way he is coming back. 2.Visible Revelation 1:7; Matthew 24:30, 31. Every eye shall see him and all his angels shall be present with him. One angel caused a great earthquake (Mt 28:2), imagine what a hundred million angels will cause. 3. Audible 1 Thessalonians 4:16; John 5:. God shall give a shout so loud it will raise the dead! 4. Glorious 2 Peter 3:9-11; Psalms 50:3-5. The heavens will pass away with a great noise and the very elements shall melt with fervent heat! Does that sound secret? No that’s the noisiest verse in the entire Bible. Everybody is going to know when Jesus comes! 5. Climatic Matthew 24:27; Revelation 6:12-17; Isaiah 25:9. Every mountain and island shall be moved out of their places, all nations shall wail because of Jesus and as lightning shines from the east and shines unto the west, so shall it be when our God shall come. Lift up your head for our redemption draweth nigh.
