Christ has Returned! When? 1844 C.E. /1260 A.H. Where? Persia and Palestine I will write on him...My own new Name. (Revelation 3:12) Christ’s new, long-promised and Most Great Name is Bahá’u’lláh “the Glory of the Everlasting Father”. …test the spirits to see whether they are of God... (1 John 4:1) Have you tested this Spirit? Ye shall know them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:16) Have you seen the fruits? Seek, and ye shall find. The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night... (2 Peter 3:10) He is in the house! Of that day and hour no one knows... (Matthew 24: 36, Luke 12:46) But there are hints about the year:
3.5 “times” = 42 “months” = 1260 “days” =1260 A.H. =1844 C.E. In 1844, the Báb (Gate) heralded Bahá’u’lláh, just as John the Baptist was the Forerunner of Jesus. John was the return of Elijah. And, in this same manner, Bahá’u’lláh is the Return of Jesus Christ. The Bible explained how the Promised One would come out of an Islamic matrix, just as Christianity came out of a Jewish matrix. ‘Interpretations belong to God’ (Genesis 40:8) But will they be accepted? In Luke 4:16-30, Jesus interpreted Isaiah in the synagogue. If anyone understood the Scriptures, it was Him, since He gave it to Isaiah in His pre-existent Lordship. Then why didn’t the Jews accept Him? Exactly the same thing is happening again. People accept what their leaders tell them, even if its wrong. “Thus have their superstitions become veils between them and their own hearts and kept them from the path of God, the Exalted, the Great.” ~Bahá’u’lláh, Tablet of Ahmad Israel was to be reborn as a nation at that “troubled” time. And the Prince of Peace has pledged that “they will beat their swords into plowshares and not learn war anymore” and “the meek shall inherit the earth; but Muslim mullahs, like the clerics before them, are unable to give divine interpretation. Their own traditions say that the clerics and leaders of the End Time will be ‘the most wicked the world has ever seen’. Some foment terrorist ‘holy war’, when it has been abolished by Bahá’u’lláh, Whom they will not recognize.
Say: O concourse of the rulers and of the learned and the wise! The Promised Day is come and the Lord of Hosts hath appeared. Rejoice ye with great joy by reason of this supreme felicity. Aid Him then through the power of wisdom and utterance. Thus biddeth you the One Who hath ever proclaimed, ‘Verily, no God is there but Me, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.’ (Tablets of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 239) Wert thou to perceive, be it less than a needle’s eye, the breaths of Mine utterance, thou wouldst abandon the world and all that is therein, and wouldst set thy face towards the lights of the countenance of the Desired One. Briefly, in the sayings of Him Who is the Spirit (Jesus) unnumbered significances lie concealed. Unto many things did He refer, but as He found none possessed of a hearing ear or a seeing eye He chose to conceal most of these things. Even as He saith: “But ye cannot bear them now.” That Dawning-Place of Revelation saith that on that Day He Who is the Promised
One will reveal the things which are to come. Accordingly in the Kitáb-i-Aqdas, and in the Tablets to the Kings, …most of the things which have come to pass on this earth have been announced and prophesied by the Most Sublime Pen. ~ Bahá’u’lláh
How John the Baptist & the Báb are the return of Elijah (Elijah said) “Now therefore send and gather all Israel to me at Mount Carmel...” 1 Kings 18:19 “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the land with a curse.” Malachi 4:5-6 John) will be great before the Lord, and he shall drink no wine nor strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. And he will turn many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God, and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.” Luke 1:15-17 And the disciples asked him, “Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come?” He replied, “Elijah does come, and they did not know him, but did to him whatever they pleased. So also the Son of man will suffer at their hands.” Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them of John the Baptist. Matthew 17:10-13 Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has risen no one greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and men of violence take it by force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John; and if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. Matthew 11:11-15 Jesus Christ, speaking of John the Baptist, declared he was Elias. When John the Baptist was questioned, “Art thou Elias?” he said, “I am not.” These two statements are apparently contradictory, but in reality they do not contradict. The light is one light. (‘Abdu’l-Baha, The Promulgation of Universal Peace, p. 167) Christ announced that John the Baptist is Elias, who was to come before Christ. And the likeness of this station is as that of lamps kindled: for these in respect to their glasses and oil-holders, are different, but in respect to their light, One, and in respect to their illumination, One; nay, each one is identical with the other, without imputation of plurality, or diversity or multiplicity or separateness. This is the Truth and beyond the Truth there is only error. ~‘Abdu’l-Bahá, BWF 370-371 He (the Báb) is the “Qá’im” (He Who ariseth) promised to the Shí’ahs, the “Mihdí” (One Who is guided) awaited by the Sunnís, the “Return of John the Baptist” expected by the Christians... With the transference of the remains of the Báb --Whose advent marks the return of the Prophet Elijah -to Mt. Carmel, and their interment in that holy mountain, not far from the cave of that Prophet Himself, the Plan so gloriously envisaged by Bahá’u’lláh, in the evening of His life, had been at last executed... ~Shoghi Effendi, God Passes By, 57-58 & 276-277 Carmel, in the Book of God, hath been designated as the Hill of God, and His Vineyard. (Bahá’u’lláh, Epistle to the Son of the Wolf, p. 145) To Him [Bahá’u’lláh] Jesus Christ had referred as ‘Lord of the Vineyard’ [See Matt. 21:33-41] Shoghi Effendi, GPB, p. 95) Ye are the light of the world. A city* that is set on a hill cannot be hid. (Matthew 5:14)
*The famous Arc and Terraces of the Bahá’í World Centre are on Mount Carmel, in the city of Haifa, Israel, are open to all mankind, and have been designated World Heritage Sites.
How tragically Christendom has ignored, and how far it has strayed from, that high mission which He Who is the true Prince of Peace has, in these, the concluding passages of (Bahá’u’lláh’s) Tablet to Pope Pius IX, called upon the entire body of Christians to fulfill -- passages which establish, for all time, the distinction between the Mission of Bahá’u’lláh in this age and that of Jesus Christ:
I was crucified for having unveiled to men's eyes the hidden gems of Thy glorious unity, for having revealed to them the wondrous signs of Thy sovereign and everlasting power. How bitter the humiliations heaped upon Me, in a subsequent age, on the plain of Karbila! How lonely did I feel amidst Thy people! To what a state of helplessness I was reduced in that land! Unsatisfied with such indignities, My persecutors decapitated Me, and, carrying aloft My head from land to land paraded it before the gaze of the unbelieving multitude, and deposited it on the seats of the perverse and faithless. In a later age, I was suspended, and My breast was made a target to the darts of the malicious cruelty of My foes. My limbs were riddled with bullets, and My body was torn asunder. Finally, behold how, in this Day, My treacherous enemies have leagued themselves against Me, and are continually plotting to instill the venom of hate and malice into the souls of Thy servants. With all their might they are scheming to accomplish their purpose.... (Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 88) “Say: O concourse of Christians! We have, on a previous occasion, revealed Ourself unto you, and ye recognized Me not. This is yet another occasion vouchsafed unto you. This is the Day of God; turn ye unto Him.... The Beloved One loveth not that ye be consumed with the fire of your desires. Were ye to be shut out as by a veil from Him, this would be for no other reason than your own waywardness and ignorance. Ye make mention of Me, and know Me not. Ye call upon Me, and are heedless of My Revelation.... O people of the Gospel! They who were not in the Kingdom have now entered it, whilst We behold you, in this day, tarrying at the gate.” (Bahá’u’lláh, quoted in The Promised Day is Come, p. 105) Take heed lest ye hesitate in recognizing this resplendent Beauty when once He hath appeared in the plenitude of His sovereign might and majesty. He, verily, is the True One, and all else besides Him is as naught before a single one of His servants, and paleth into nothingness when brought face to face with the revelation of His splendours. Hasten, then, to attain the living waters of His grace, and be not of the negligent. As to him who hesitateth, though it be for less than a moment, God shall verily bring his works to naught and return him to the seat of wrath; wretched indeed is the abode of them that tarry! (Bahá’u’lláh, The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, p. 53) Should any one arise for the triumph of our Cause, him will God render victorious though tens of thousands of enemies be leagued against him. And if his love for Me wax stronger, God will establish his ascendancy over all the powers of earth and heaven. (Bahá’u’lláh, in The Power of Divine Assistance, p. 9) “Consider the work of former generations,” ‘Abdu’l-Bahá has written; “During the
lifetime of Jesus Christ the believing, firm souls were few and numbered, but the heavenly blessings descended so plentifully that in a number of years countless souls entered beneath the shadow of the Gospel. God has said in the Qur’án: ‘One grain will bring forth seven sheaves, and every sheaf shall contain one hundred grains.’ In other words, one grain will become seven hundred; and if God so wills He will double these also. It has often happened that one blessed soul has become the cause of the guidance of a nation. (The Advent of Divine Justice, p. 57)
Who is the Woman of Revelation, chapter 12? This woman is that bride, the Law of God that descended upon Muhammad. The sun with which she was clothed, and the moon which was under her feet, are the two nations which are under the shadow of that Law, the Persian and Ottoman kingdoms; for the emblem of Persia is the sun, and that of the Ottoman Empire is the crescent moon... Afterward it is said: "upon her head is a crown of twelve stars." These twelve stars are the twelve Imams, who were the promoters of the Law of Muhammad and the educators of the people, shining like stars in the heaven of guidance. Then it is said in the second verse: "and she being with child cried," meaning that this Law fell into the greatest difficulties and endured great troubles and afflictions until a perfect offspring was produced -- that is, the coming Manifestation, the Promised One, Who is the perfect offspring, and Who was reared in the bosom of this Law, which is as its mother. The child Who is referred to is the Báb, the Primal Point, Who was in truth born from the Law of Muhammad -- that is to say, the Holy Reality, Who is the child and outcome of the Law of God, His mother, and Who is promised by that religion, finds a reality in the kingdom of that Law; but because of the despotism of the dragon the child was carried up to God. After twelve hundred and sixty days the dragon was destroyed, and the child of the Law of God, the Promised One, became manifest... Verse 4:. "And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour the child as soon as it was born."...The Umayyads were always waiting to get possession of the Promised One, Who was to come from the line of Muhammad, to destroy and annihilate Him; for they much feared the appearance of the promised Manifestation, and they sought to kill any of Muhammad's descendants who might be highly esteemed. (‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Some Answered Questions, p. 68-9)
42 “months”= 3.5 “times” = 1260 “days”= 1260 A.H. = 1844 C.E. Consider how the prophecies correspond to one another. In the Apocalypse, the appearance of the Promised One is appointed after forty-two months, and Daniel expresses it as three times and a half, which is also forty-two months, which are twelve hundred and sixty days. In another passage of John's Revelation it is clearly spoken of as twelve hundred and sixty days, and in the Holy Book it is said that each day signifies one year. Nothing could be clearer than this agreement of the prophecies with one another. The Báb appeared in the year 1260 of the Hejira of Muhammad, which is the beginning of the universal era-reckoning of all Islam. There are no clearer proofs than this in the Holy Books for any Manifestation. For him who is just, the agreement of the times indicated by the tongues of the Great Ones is the most conclusive proof. There is no other possible explanation of these prophecies. Blessed are the just souls who seek the truth. (‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Some Answered Questions, p. 71) ...the Woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which to be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days. Rev. 12:6
The woman was given two wings of the great eagle that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time. Rev. 12:14 These two passages indicate the same period of time. The place for the faithful to turn had been shifted from Jerusalem to the Kaaba in Mecca, in the wilderness of Arabia, during the Dispensation of Muhammad, for 1260 lunar years. The Woman is God’s Cause during Islam, and her Child is the Báb. She resembles Hagar, Abraham’s handmaid. After that time, two Divine Manifestations appeared in Persia. We are living in the Cycle begun by the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh!
And I will grant my two witnesses power to prophesy for one thousand two hundred and sixty days... Rev. 11:3 [Muhammad and , his chief apostle‘Alí dispense prophesy till 1260 A.H./ 1844 C.E.] And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends from the bottomless pit will make war upon them and conquer them and kill them...Rev. 11:7 And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months...Rev. 13:5 The spiritual teachings of Muhammad and ‘Alí were ignored by those usurping the outer power of religion. These Umayyads and Abbasids set themselves up as Caliphs, through poison and deceit, opposing the rightly-guided Imams of the House of Muhammad. The same time period is expressed three ways. For three days and a half men from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations gaze at their dead bodies...But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. Rev. 11:9 & 11 The Báb & Quddus arise and re-enact the roles of the two witnesses, like John the Baptist re-enacted the role of Elijah. In addition, the Báb acted as Herald for Bahá’u’lláh, as John did for Christ, Who has reappeared in Bahá’u’lláh. ...the number of the beast... a human number, is six hundred and sixty-six. Rev. 13:18 This human calendar number is 666 Anno Domini, when the Caliphate outwardly overcame the Hashemite Imams. ‘Alí was killed at Kufih, Iraq in 661 CE, and Husayn, his son, and clan, a few years later, at Karbila. In Karbila, the Báb visited the Shaykhi school before His declaration in Shíraz, Persia. The first woe has passed; behold two woes are still to come. Rev. 9:12 This refers to the Muhammadan Dispensation, followed by the Bábí and Bahá‘í Dispensation. ...The second woe has passed; behold the third woe is soon to come. Rev. 11:9, 11, 14 The Bábí Dispensation was short, nineteen years duration, from 1844-1863, after which Bahá’u’lláh declared His divine mission in Baghdad, Iraq. These are the two trumpet blasts of the Resurrection. The Resurrection means the re-enacted roles of both the faithful and the faithless, “...some to everlasting life, and some to everlasting shame and contempt.” (Daniel 12:2) Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon...and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down...Rev. 12: 7-9 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years were ended... Rev. 20:1-3 As Jesus was betrayed by Jerusalem, Imam Husayn was betrayed by the people of Kufih, Bahá’u’lláh, was betrayed by the decrepit Turkish Ottoman government, and therefore, He spiritually represented Michael, defeated the Caliphate/Sultanate with a Word and its throne was thrown down. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:27 The call of this same Archangel (1 Thess. 4:16) “flashed” to the West through the teaching tours of Bahá’u’lláh‘s Son ‘Abdu‘l-Bahá, whose birth coincided with the Declaration of the Báb and the invention of the telegraph. Bahá’u’lláh’s Dispensation is a thousand solar years duration, and will be followed by many new Divine Manifestations during a 500,000 year Cycle of Fulfillment.
Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems; and he has a name inscribed which no one knows but himself...From his mouth issues a sharp sword with which to smite the nations...On his robe and on his thigh he has a name inscribed, King of kings, and Lord of lords. Rev. 19:11-16 [Bahá’u’lláh interprets this in Gems of Divine Mysteries] I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven, there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him. And to him was given dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed. Daniel 7:13-14 1. Israel’s Return was one of the simultaneous signs that would occur 2. Plummeting morality worldwide indicates people are not living according to the religion theyhave. 3. Famines, earthquakes and wars indicate that leaders are unable to rule without the consent of God. 4. Expansion of science, inventions, and travel indicate a new spiritual impetus has been released. 5. Increase of both apostasy and faith in cults and the occult 7. Talk about a New World Order raises the issue: Who is establishing it? If it is God, who can stop it? Elijah cried out: “...gather all Israel to me at Mount Carmel.” (1 Kings 18:19) Standing on Mount Carmel, Bahá’u’lláh cried out: “Call out to Zion, O Carmel, and announce the joyful tidings: He that was hidden from mortal eyes is come! His all-conquering sovereignty is manifest; His all-encompassing splendor is revealed.” 1. The return of the Jews to their ancient homeland, and the end of its control by the Gentiles (Luke 21:24) was indeed one of three critical promises given in the Gospel. It is also referred to in Ezekiel 36:33. “On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited...”. This refers to the latter Advent of Christ, since the Jews had not yet been driven out by the Romans in 70 CE. The Jews have reclaimed the land of Israel, therefore the Promised One must be in the world! 2. It is evident that divine civilization has not kept up with material civilization. The question arises, is it because the previous divine remedy has lost its effectiveness, or that a more recent remedy has not been taken as prescribed? Either way, a renewal of morality and virtue worldwide is not possible without divine intervention. 3. Material famines have both natural (divine initiated) and human causes. The Dust Bowl of the 1930s was the result of over-farming. Greater ecological understanding has prevented similar problems; but some crises will have to be adapted to, like global warming and melting of the ice packs. Some would say that violence and war are the inherent nature of humanity; but there is the divine promise that “they will beat their swords into plowshares and learn war no more.” The world’s people must now demand this. Global problems need global approaches, because the global economy is based on the global ecology. 4. Do we mean only the earthquakes measured on the Richter scale? What about the rocking of the foundations of human society, the shaking of the pillars? This could refer to new ideologies which have shaken the nations and then proven to be incapable of satisfying human needs, namely Nazism, Communism, Apartheid etc. 5. That “knowledge has increased” as promised in Daniel 12:4 is obvious since the invention of the telegraph in May of 1844, shortly after the beginning of the Great Announcement of Bahá’í Cycle. Bahá’u’lláh said “All the wondrous achievements ye now witness are the direct consequences of the Revelation of this Name. In the days to come, ye will, verily, behold things of which ye have never heard before.” Speed-of-light communication was impelled further in the 1870s with the invention of the telephone by Alexander Graham Bell. Bahá’u’lláh foresaw this, from His confinement in a Turkish penal colony in Palestine, when he recalled the invention of something similar in ancient times by a man named Martos. Some may say that the Internet we now have has the potential for evil. It is us! Everything humanity develops reflects those things within us, and can be used for good or ill. 6. Explosion of the Occult. Hasn’t there always been a fascination by the curious for those things forbidden by the authorities, who are often all too ignorant themselves? “Occult” means hidden. Everything is
revealed in this day of judgment, both good and bad. The remedy of ignorance is knowledge. 7. The Bahá’í Writings state: “...the establishment of peace is unachievable save through the power of the Word of God. When a conference is convened, representative of all nations and working under the influence of the Word of God, then universal peace will be established but otherwise it is impossible.” So far, the UN system stubbornly insisted upon by the sovereign nation states, has prevented world peace. It is not an imagined anti-christ in the future that is the threat; although this is immensely promoted in popular literature. Anti-christ has always been with us (1 John 4:3) The horrible weapons we have developed without divine law are not the ultimate danger, but rather the sovereign nation states whose chronic condition is sedition, war and anarchy. “Guns do not kill people, people kill people.” The members of the Security Council are the biggest arms dealers. Is it the task of the US, or the UN to patrol the streets of the world? Or is a constant state of lawlessness to persist in a world that needs a global judicial system? Bahá’u’lláh brings the divine remedy. He said “The world’s equilibrium hath been upset through the vibrating influence of this most great, this new World Order. Mankind’s ordered life hath been revolutionized through the agency of this unique, this wondrous System -the like of which mortal eyes have never witnessed.” And elsewhere, this is “not a union that would lead to disunity or a concord which would create discord. This is the station where measures are set unto everything, a station where every deserving soul shall be given his due.” 8. The increase of the Bahá’í Faith has made it the worlds most wide-spread religion, second only to Christianity. This means that it is represented in more countries and vastly diverse tribes, than faiths who have more numbers. This is because of the volunteer pioneering efforts of its adherents, who were willing to suffer martyrdom in many cases. The 1992 Congress in New York was the most diverse human conclave ever held. The Resurrection means the re-enacted roles of both the faithful and the faithless, “...some to everlasting life, and some to everlasting shame and contempt.” (Daniel 12:2) Jesus said John the Baptist was Elijah. (Matt. 11:14) He came in the same “spirit and power.” Likewise, Bahá’u’lláh “testifies to Christ” and reveals those things we could not bear then. We say the roses are back in spring, although they are not the identical blossoms. The same color and fragrance has returned. The sheep know the Shepherd’s Voice...“there will be one flock, one Shepherd.” (John 10) Sincere seekers are found in all traditions who need the unifying light of God; and they seek the truth, independent of “every accursed prattler.” 1 800 22 UNITE www.bahai.org www.indybahai.org www,bahaistudy.org www.bahai-library.org
The End of the Seven Times of the Gentiles Moses warned the Israelites that God would punish them if they reverted to idolatry: “I will chastise you seven times...” (Leviticus 26:28) Gentiles would conquer the Jews. “Let seven times pass over him.” Daniel 4:23 refers to the same prophecy, while interpreting the dream of Nebuchadnezzar, who ruled from 605 to 562 BCE. When asked about His Return in Luke 21:5-7 & 24, Jesus answered His followers: “Jerusalem will be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Gentiles, or foreign rulers, would continue to fight over Israel throughout the Seven “Times.” 1 “time” = 1 Biblical “year” = 12 months with 30 days each = 360 “days” or actual years This is established by the following verses: ‘I have appointed thee each day for a year.’ [Ezekiel 4:6] ‘Even forty days, each day for a year.’ [Numbers 14:34][See also Thief in the Night, p.15] 360 x 7 “times” = 2520 years* Half of 2520 = 1260 = The latter half of the Seven “Times” = The Muslim Dispensation 1260 “days” = 3.5 “times” = 42 “months” (Ref. 1 Kings 18:1, Dan. 7:25, 12:7, Luke 4:25, James 5:17, Rev. 11:2, 3, 9 & 11, 12:6 & 14, 13:5) 676 [First Captivity in Babylon] 676 + 2520 solar years = 1844 C.E. (See Ezra 7). Daniel 8:13/Matthew 24:15 foreshadow an “abomination of desolation” lasting 2300 “days” [Daniel 9:24-6 also predicts “7 weeks” or 490 years. 490 - 457 = 33 CE, Jesus was “cut off”] 33 C.E. Exactly 2300 years elapsed from the decree of Artaxerxes (Ezra 7:12) on 1 Nisan, 456 BC to 1 Nisan, (March 21) 1844 CE. Ezekiel 36:33 says “On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be rebuilt.” Jews increased; the Caliphate collapsed in 1924, Israel attained Statehood in 1948, with consent of the UN.
The fact Zionists have been re-gathered by alíyah means the Promised One must be in the world. 1863 The Ridván Declaration of Bahá’u’lláh, April 21 (3rd Woe “cometh quickly” Rev. 11:14) “We have sounded the Trumpet for the second time”. ~(Tablets of Bahá’u’lláh, 131) “...all created things were immersed in the sea of purification... on that first day of Ridván” “Thus have We built the Temple with the hands of power and might, could ye but know it. This is the Temple promised unto you in the Book. Draw ye nigh unto it. This is that which profiteth you, could ye but comprehend it. Be fair, O peoples of the earth! Which is preferable, this, or a temple which is built of clay?” ~(Súrih of the Temple) [See John 2:19] 1963 The first election of the Universal House of Justice, designated in Bahá’u’lláh’s Writings. [1963 - 628 CE = 1335 “days” of Daniel 12:12 *2520 is “the lowest common multiple of all integers up to 9” (See Kitab-i-Aqdas, Q&A #5) [2+5+2= 9, “the number of Bahá.”][B=2,H=5,A=1][9 House of Justice members, 9 sides on Temples etc.]
In Daniel verses 11 & 12, it is said: "And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolation be set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days." The beginning of this lunar reckoning is from the day of the proclamation of the prophethood of Muhammad in the country of Hijaz; and that was three years after His mission, because in the beginning the prophethood of Muhammad was kept secret, and no one knew it save Khadijah and Ibn Nawfal.[1] After three years it was announced. And Bahá'u'lláh, in the year 1290 from the proclamation of the mission of Muhammad, caused His manifestation to be known. [2] [1 Varaqat-Ibn-Nawfal, Khadijah's cousin.] [2 The year 1290 from the proclamation of the mission of Muhammad was the year 1280 of the Hejira, or 1863-64 of our era. It was at this epoch (April 1863) that Bahá'u'lláh, on leaving Baghdad for Constantinople, declared to those who surrounded Him that He was the Manifestation announced by the Báb. It is this declaration which the Bahá'ís celebrate by the Feast of Ridvan, this name being that of the garden at the entrance of the city, where Bahá'u'lláh stayed during twelve days, and where He made the declaration. (Abdu'l-Baha, Some Answered Questions, p. 43)
“Every soul who was deprived of the Kingdom of God in the day of Christ was disappointed in the other world. Now be thou a seeker of Truth with all thy soul and heart and receive thou the reflection of guidance, so that thou mayest not become sad and disappointed in the other realm.” (Tablets of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá v3, p. 698) Christ "reflects the glory of God, and bears the very stamp of His nature." (Hebrews 1:3) "He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation." (Col. 1:15) And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. (Matthew 19:17) "They surely disbelieve who say: Lo! Allah is the third of three; when there is no God save the One God. If they desist not from so saying a painful doom will fall on those of them who disbelieve." (Qur'án, Sura 5:3)
