Cheap Poetry! I just put down my words And send them off to you But, after ya’ read ‘em I wonder, what ya’ do. Do they get passed on Are they worth, your “friends”? I doubt it and most times That’s where the “wording” ends. I get the kindest words To say, “You’re really good” But you don’t, send them on Like, I wish you would. When my words end up In the trusty, “delete” bin I just wish, I’d wrote enough To pass on to your friend! Del “Abe” Jones 2-7-2004
