Quality teaching is achieved not only as a consequence of how well teachers teach through creating contexts and work environments that can facilitate good teaching it may be depends on the following issues: - Institutional factors - Teacher factors - Teaching factors - Learner factors

Institutional factors -The organizational culture The school’s organizational culture is revealed in the way the following questions are answered: *what are the school’s goals and mission? *What is the school’ management style? *What shared valued do staff have? *What roles do teachers perform *What provision is made for staff development? *How are the courses and curriculum planned? Etc.

-Quality Indicators in an institution. The following characteristics are indicators of the quality of a school or educational institution. *cleared and stated educational goals. *well-planned balanced and organized program that meets the students’ needs. *high degreed staff *motivated and cohesive teaching force with good team spirit *school’s programs are regularly reviewed and progress toward their goals is evaluated

-A sense of Mission What goals does the institution have? A useful format for articulating a school ‘s sense of missions is in the form of a mission statement.

-A Strategic Plan Six elements of a good strategic plan are: *vision *values *purpose *mission *goals *strategies - Quality Assurance Mechanisms.
