AIR HANDLING UNITS Construction Frame Work The frame work is made of anticorodal hollow extruded aluminum profile, held together by special the remoplastic, self extinguishing 3-legged joints that ensure perfect alignment and rigidity of the whole structure. Problem of excessive condensation on structural frame is addressed by providing high performance thermal bridge profile. Anodised profiles and screwless snap fixing profiles are also available as an option, SS Profile is also available.

Gasket Multi finned gasket sided in built-up grooves in the structural profile of the unit ensures air tight construction. For special applications, food grade gasket unit ensures air tight construction. For special applications, food grade gasket as per BS EN-71 Part 3:1 995 can be provided on request

Panels Double skin 25/24 mm panels injected with environment friendly CFC and HFC free, self extinguishing PUF as ASTM D 3014 a uniform density of 3840kg/m3 ensures low thermal conductivity and robust construction for high humidity ambient conditions panels with thermal bridges can be provided. Various option such as precoated colored galvanised sheets, plain galvanised sheets, aluminium and SS304 and SS 316 sheets in various thickness are available for innter and outer skin of double skin panels. Glass wool or mineral wool insulation (upto 144 kg/m3) is also available as an option. Panels also available with antimircrobial antifungal coating & high resistant coating (upto 6000) .

Base Frame

Base frame is made of galvanised steel with die cast aluminium joints having lifting holes, Extruded aluminium base is available as an option, SS is also avilable.

Condensate Drain Pan Drain pan is made of aluminum with dual slope to facilitate immediate discharge of condensate. Specially designed drain pan with all round edges allow complete cleaning and avoid microbial growth as per ASHRAE 62-1999. Drain pan is SS-304 construction is also available as option.

Components Air Treatment Section Computer selected high efficiency copper tube, aluminium finned and DX coils are provided for cooling/heating in a single stack, upto 12 rows deep. Each coil is pressure tested at 2059 KPA with air under water for trouble free operations. Copper fins, anti-corrosive coating on fins for coastal application and side plates in SS construction are also available as option. Stream or spray humidifer section can also be provided as an integral part of the unit.

Eliminators installed on rails are removable for cleaning.

Selection Program

Fan Sections Highly energy efficient, AMCA certified, fans with forward/backward curved construction for medium to high static pressure application the electric motor is a totally enclosed type with an IP 55 or 54 protection and class F insulation. Director drive plug fans with inverter drive are also available on request. Fan and motor is mounted on a common extruded channel base by us using anti-vibration insulators ans self extinguishing fabric flexible connection tested to UL-214 and comforts to NFA 90A and NFPA 90B standards. Thus ensuringl ow operating noise and variation. View port is provided as a standard feature. Weather proof lamp is also available on request.

Air control Device Low leakage air control devices are made of extruded aluminum aerofoil design profiles driven with polycarbonate gear chain for low torgue operation. GI/SS construction is also available as option.

Filters Single or multi stage filtration is offered to suit diffrent applications. A complete rage of filters as per ASHRAE and EUROVENT standards are available. Pressure measurement ports across fine filters are provided as a standard feature

Horseshoe Heat Recovery Unit

Human Safety Devices

This is a sort of heat type heat recovery unit. It is used in places where relative humidity and outdoor temperature are high. In this system, the cooling coil is placed within the unit between the precooling and reheating sections of the horseshoe heat recovery unit. The warm and moist air is cooled by passing it through the precooling coil first. Then the air passing through the cooling coil also passes through the reheat coil, and conditio-ned to the desired temperature and relative humidity. The system does not contain any moving parts. The process is achieved with the thermal energy carried by the coolant which flows naturally within the horseshoe heat recovery system due to the temperature differential.

FAN WALL TECHNOLOGY New way to intelligent central air conditioning is called FAN WALL. In this modern technology, several (usually at least four) small fan units are connected in parallel in one housing instead of using one large fan. This arrangement has considerable advantages. On the one hand, the modular principle increases flexibility. Depending on the installation requirements, the number and size of fans can be selected optimally. On the other hand, it improves the air flow distribution: The result is a better heat transmission and filter utilisation in the central air conditioning unit. Operational reliability: No total failure in case of malfunction Using several small fans in place of one large fan improves depending on the installation requirements: In the event of a malfunctioning fan there is no total system failure and not even a drop in performance because, with the appropriate design, the speed of the other fans can be increased to compensate the non-operational fan. Ultraviolet Light Options Air handlers can be factory equipped with ultraviolet (UV) light options that are pre-engineered for placement to provide maximum effectiveness. Two UV light options are available. The first can be mounted on the downstream side of all cooling coils and above the unit drain pan for surface “kill” applications to comply with the GSA Facilities The second can be mounted in the air stream prior to filter(s) for “kill on the fly” applications. Ultraviolet (UV) systems prevent all these microbiological problems. UV rays allow air sterilization. It eliminates 99.9% of air borne micro-organisms. It prevents air borne transmission of contagious diseases. - Its conformance to the VDI 6022 (Association of German Engineers) norms in addition to the 1946-6 norm implemented in hospitals brings about an improvement in hygiene standards.

EC (Electronically Commutated) Motor Fans Depending on global and nationwide research, the highest potential whereby electrical energy saving can be achieved has to do with electrical motors. The leading factor in implementing this responsibility is EC technology with the high energy economy it provides. The (smart plug-and-play) product equipped with an EC motors, details distinguishing it from other products on the market, advantages for the manufacturer and end user: Process controller, speed control device or driver, electrical filters and overload protection (for motor and electronics) elements are all within the motor. Low noise and vibration levels are achieved throughout the entire operational range. 100% speed control is available without using additional components. The unit can operate with 0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA set and actual signals. Wide diameter and performance range (Up to 630 mm in diameter - 6kW in motor power). Pressures as high as 2200 Pa can be accommodated with EC motor powers. Fixed performance throughout the full supply current range = 3 phase - 380-480 VAC - 50/60 Hz – Integrated DC supply source for sensors- Soft start -Ability to rotate at low speed on standby upon demand (adjustable minimum offset speed)

SCREWLESS THERMAL BREAK SYSTEM 55 WITH PANEL STOP PROFILES The new thermal break system guarantees a high thermal insulation thanks to the use of special shaped polyamide bars of 20 mm length. One of the peculiarities of this system is the half omega profile that allows the union of two or more units ensuring the thermal bridging between them. The “panel stop” profiles hold the panels without the use of screws.The use of a patented gasket system ensures smooth internal surfaces - so the AHU can be sanitisable - and a perfect airtighthness inside the unit. Moreover, the interior of the frame has been designed with a radius shape and nylon rounded corners in order to facilitate the maintenance of cleanliness inside the unit. To improve the mechanical and air tightness properties of the frame, the nylon and omega joint corner have special grooves for screws that fasten together the aluminium profile with the plastic components. Furthermore, the screws are hidden by nylon caps that prevent the formation of dust and dirt near the head of the screw. Twin wheel concept

The components of a Twin Wheel system Rotary heat exchanger Rotary heat exhangers are used for heating and cooling recovery in air handling systems and typically enh-ances their efficiency. The rotary heat exchangers main component is the rotor. Sensible rotor When spinning, the rotor transfers heat or cold between supply and exhaust airstreams. In this case, where the exchange is restricted to temperature transfer, it is called a 'sensible' rotor. Hygroscopic rotor Through surface treatment the rotor can also be given moist transferring abilities. It is then called a 'hygroscopic' rotor. This type of rotor can also recover energy from water vapor, which means that it can recover both sensible and latent energy. The transfer principle is the same for both moist and temperature. Cooling coil The purpose of the cooling coil is to cool and/or dehumidify air. Cooling is achieved when warm air passes through the cooling coil, which consists of parallel pipes. When there is also a demand for dehumidification, the temperature of the battery is lowered until the passing air reaches its dew point. The condensated moist is then extracted by a drip separator. The outcome of this process is air with lower temperature and lower humidity.

INDIRECT/DIRECT EVAPORATIVE COOLING UNITS Hindair's standard Indirect/Direct evaporative cooling Units range from 2,000 cfm to 30,000 cfm. and special units could be built up to 60,000 cfm. In contrast to standard commercial units Hindair's each unit is custom designed to meet the particular application and specific requirements of the project. Evaporative cooling has made summers more bearable for thousands of years and with 21st century technology provides effective, economical, environmentally friendly, and healthy cooling. Evaporative cooling comes in five flavors: direct, indirect, indirect/direct, indirect/indirect, and indirect/DX. Evaporative cooling works alone or as a supplement to a chiller or DX system.

Hindair's Indirect/Direct Evaporative Cooling unit is a complete packaged unit for two stage cooling and ventilation applications. The basic Indirect / Direct Evaporative cooling Unit consists of an Indirect cooling section, media type evaporative cooler section, supply air blower section, and other sections, such as filters section, air mixing boxes, access section, evaporator cooling coil section, full economizer section offered to customize IDC's functions needed. Indirect cooling section consists of a PVC tube type air to air heat exchanger, comes complete with 304 stainless steel casing and sump, water distribution system with moisture eliminators, with submersible or end suction type pump, secondary air intake filters and secondary air exhaust propeller type fans. Direct evaporative coolers are manufactured with 304 stainless steel casings and sumps to prevent corrosion and are supplied with submersible or end suction pumps, with water distribution header, adjustable valves and bleed-off valve. Coolers utilize 12” deep CELdek or GLASdek media, as manufactured by Munters Corporation or equivalent make. The units can incorporate return air section, air mixing section and economizer section. Each section is also equipped with air intake dampers, and flat or v-bank air filters. Features common to all units are structural steel channel base, galvanized steel housing, access doors, high density fiberglass insulation, high efficiency blower motors, and externally mounted and wired electrical enclosures.

Direct evaporative cooling With direct evaporative cooling, outside air is blown through a water-saturated medium (usually cellulose) and cooled by evaporation. The cooled air is circulated by a blower. Direct evaporative cooling adds moisture to the air stream until the air stream is close to saturation. The dry bulb temperature is reduced, while the wet bulb temperature stays the same.

Indirect evaporative cooling Indirect evaporative cooling cools air without added moisture. By using a cross-flow, corrosion-resistant polymer heat exchanger, water never comes in contact with the air being supplied to the space. With indirect evaporative cooling, a secondary (scavenger) air stream is cooled by water. The cooled secondary air stream goes through a heat exchanger, where it cools the primary air stream. The cooled primary air stream is circulated by a blower. Indirect evaporative cooling does not add moisture to the primary air stream. Both the dry bulb and wet bulb temperatures are reduced. Variable air volume Boxes : Honeywell Variable Air Volume Boxes are single skinned, pressure independent type, having Spyder series DDC controller with appended actuator module, a velocity transducer & mechanical damper. It is supplied with standard 220/ 24 VAC transformer & a zio lite Temperature sensor VAV boxes have an air flow sensors located at the inlet of assembly. These air flow sensors are perpendicular diametrically cross linked in structure & have multiple pick-up points which gives average flow of air through the inlet. Honeywell VAV boxes comes with Spyder BACnet MS/TP Controller that enable easy interface for the communication with the BACnet based BMS system. Spyder controllers comes with direct coupled actuators having declutch mechanism , tested & hardwired at the factory, Each controllers are free-programmable and can be uploaded with application at the time of commissioning. VAV controller comes complete with electronic microbridge differential pressure flow transducer. This controller is capable of standalone operation with a room mounted thermostat & also has the ability to network with a building automation system. Honeywell VAV Boxes are constructed by 25 mm thick Galvanized Steel sheet, & acoustically lined from inside. VAV Boxes meet the specification of NFPA 90A and 90B & passed Fire Test BS476-6. The VAV controller operates in conjunction with a space temperature sensor for each unit. Salient features of our cooling towers:1. Our Forced Draft Cooling Towers are forcing fresh air in the Cooling Tower. The fan & motor are handling dry atmospheric air, thereby, reducing the probability of scale deposits on fan / motor shaft. Conventional induced draft cooling towers are inducing humid air out of cooling tower. The fan & motor are handling humid air; as a result hard scale gets deposited on fan / motor shaft. 2. In case of our Forced Draft Cooling Towers, it is practically very easy for technicians to dismantle/remove the fan assembly from motor shaft, because of absence of scale deposits. In case of conventional induced draft cooling towers, it is very difficult ( at times, impossible) to remove the fan assembly from motor shaft because of presence of heavy scale deposits. 3. The fan & motor in our Forced Draft Cooling Towers are mounted on the side panel near foundation, thereby, creating an advantageous position for maintenance technicians, to regularly inspect & maintain both the mechanical components ( fan & motor ). The fan & motor in conventional induced draft cooling towers are mounted on the Top. It is practically impossible for technicians to inspect fan & motor on a regular interval, as the location on top is not always accessible. 4. In case of breakdown in our Forced Draft Cooling Towers, the fan & motor can be immediately removed & replaced with alternative fan / motor, since they are installed at a convenient location. In case of conventional induced draft cooling towers, removing & replacing fan & motor is very cumbersome & might sometime involve chain pulley, hoisting arrangement, etc., thereby, consuming much more time. 5. our Forced Draft Cooling Towers are provided with STANDARD FOOT MOUNTED electric motors, which are easily available in open market. The motors provided by us are WITH STANDARD LENGTH OF SHAFTS. We provide only known brands of motors, viz., ABB / Crompton / Kirloskar / Bharat Bijlee / as per customer's choice. In case of stand by requirement, customer can purchase motors from open market instead of depending upon cooling tower manufacturers. Conventional induced draft cooling towers are provided with SPECIAL FLANGE MOUNTED electric motors, which are not at all available in open market. The motors are provided WITH EXTENDED LONG SHAFTS & are of unpopular unknown local brands of motors, viz., New India / Hindustan / Sabar, etc. In case of stand by requirement, customer has no choice to purchase motor from open market, but, to purchase motors from cooling tower manufacturers only. 6. our Forced Draft Cooling Towers operate with Twin Headers, ensuring uniform distribution of hot water throughout the cross section of Fill Pack. Hot Water Distribution is completely Unpressurised & Gravity Flow. Bottle shape induced draft cooling towers operate with moving Sprinkler & Branch Pipes, which often gets chocked with scale deposits, thus dropping efficiency. 7. The hot water distribution system of our Forced Draft Cooling Towers can be cleaned, while the system is in operation, WITHOUT SHUTDOWN, because of easy access & easy approach to network of pipes & Splash Cups. In case of Bottle shape & other induced draft cooling towers, the distribution system can only be attended from the top, when the cooling tower is UNDER SHUTDOWN. 8. The clearance required for fresh air entry in our Forced Draft Cooling Towers is onlyfrom one side in the fan direction. Thereby, saving 50 % of Effective Space required. The clearance required for fresh air entry in conventional induced draft cooling towers is from all the four sides ( at least 1 meter on each side ), thereby, requiring almost double Effective Space. 9. The power consumed by fan motor of our Forced Draft Cooling Towers is less, as they handle dry atmospheric air. The power consumed by fan motor of conventional induced draft cooling towers is more, as they handle humid air with greater density. ( moisture content + atmospheric air ) 10. Higher capacity our Forced Draft Cooling Towers are provided with TWIN FANS & TWIN MOTORS. Cooling Towers can be operated on Part Load by switching Off one fan/motor, when the atmospheric conditions are favorable, viz., in winter seasons or in night when the ambient dry bulb is low. In case of motor breakdown / fan breakdown, the Forced Draft cooling towers can still be operated on part load, rather than being shut down. Conventional bottle shape & other induced draft cooling towers are provided with only single fan & single motor. In case of breakdown in fan / motor, customer has no choice but to shut down the cooling tower, or, to operate without fan & motor. 11. our Forced Draft Cooling Towers are provided with motors of 960 RPM. Smaller Cooling Towers are provided with 1400 RPM Motors. Both motors are readily available in open market, in case of any emergency requirement. Conventional induced draft cooling towers are mostly provided with low speed motors of 720 RPM. These low speed motors are not available in open market, but can be procured from limited sources only, resulting in longer downtime, or, unnecessary increased inventory at customer's end.

Cooling Coil All cooling coils shall be standard 3 Row deep staggered seamless copper tube with aluminium fins mechanically bonded. Tube shall be minimum 9.5 mm OD and minimum 0.35mm thick. Brass distributors at coil inlet and outlet should be fixed with coil end plates to give proper strength to avoid any damage to coils. All coils shall be provided with air vent & drain plugs. IN-LINE FANS Design The fan casing is made of galvanized steel. VAIF SB / DD / TB models are heat- and sound-insulated with 50 mm layer of mineral wool. Motor The impeller made of galvanized steel with forward curved blades is powered by means of 4- or 6pole external rotor asynchronous motor. For precise features, safe operation and low noise, each impeller is dynamically balanced while ass-embly. Motor protection rating IP 44. Mounting The fans are designed for in-line rectangular air duct mounting and require no special fixing in case of direct connection. In case of connection through the flexible connectors the fan is fixed to a building by means of supports, suspension brackets or fixation brackets. The fans can be mounted in any position with respect to the pointer direction on the casing. Access for the fan maintenance shall be provided. The fan is powered through the external terminals. Circular Inline Fans With Steel Housing Our Circular inline fan have backward impeller powered by with single phase IP-44 external rotor motor having class F insulation & IP-44 protection. Fan & motor assembly is encased in pre-galvanized sheet housing. The motor have in built thermal overload protection with automatic restart. The motor is equipped with Ball Bearing for long service life for at least 40000 hours. Fan speed can be controlled by both by Step or Smooth Speed Controller. Mounting of the Fan at any angle to wall or ceiling is performed with Fastening brackets supplied with the the unit as standard. The Fan is powered by means of electric connections at external terminal .

JET FANS Jet fan systems offering a cost effective solution to ventilate and extract smoke from enclosed or underground car parks. This ductless ventilation system provides either normal ventilation and can also be provided for smoke extract in case of emergencies, or a combination of both, i.e. a dual purpose fan. The typical system includes the jet fans and main exhaust air fans, eventually supply air fans. In addition, a control system with carbon monoxide detectors and/or heat/smoke detectors is required to operate the system effectively. A jet fan system offers the “ventilation on demand” principle also for car parks – depending on the measurements of the CO detectors. Control system A control system is required, which is tailored to handle the requirements of the specific project for ventilating and smoke extraction The control equipment regulates the main supply and/or exhaust fans together with the jet fans, both depending on the signals coming. DFRA Description The foolproof operation of our DFRA series dehumidifiers is based on the prin-ciple of two continuous and simultaneous airflows running in opposite directions through the desiccant rotor: the process airflow (airflow requiring dehumidifica-tion) and the reactivation airflow for the desiccant rotor (wet air).After filtration, the process airflow passes through the desiccant rotor, which adsorbs most of the water vapour contained in the air stream. This is then expelled from the dehumidifier via a fan, in the form of dry air for su-pply to the process ventilation system or direct to the space in question. The reactivation airflow for the desiccant rotor is drawn from outside, filtered and heated by electricity/steam/thermal oil, or via a direct combustion natural gas burner. When it has reached the temperature required to carry over the molecules of water vapour retained in the rotor, this wet air is extracted from the dehumidifier by a fan and expelled to the outside. Our dehumidifiers are specially designed for easy installation, stable and continuous operation with minimum maintenance. The effective dehumidification of the process airflow is achieved by the high efficiency of the desiccant silica gel rotor which adsorbs molecules of water vapour, maintaining its performance even at low levels of ambient humidity. The synthesized silica gel is a chemically and thermally stable material, which is not subject to deliquescence like other desiccant materials and therefore provides continuous and stable performance. This silica gel is the foundation for the long service life provided by FISAIR dehumidifiers, as its chemical resistance plus its ability to be washed with water, ensures its longevity. Process air humidity values down to 20ºC Dew Point can be readily achieved, and even more demanding level are available on request.

Designed to occupy a minimum of space, these compact stainless steel units incorporate a silica gel desiccant rotor. This provides maximum efficiency in retaining molecules of water vapour extracted from process air flow while the rotation assures continuous and uniform drying. A series of metal plates inside the unit ensures that the air flow supplied by the fan goes through different ar-eas of the rotor. The rotor cross section is divided into three sectors separated by special seals:- One air stream (process air) passes through the largest of the three sectors of the rotor and leaves the unit as dry air with a reduced mo-isture content. A second air steam (reactivation air) is first heated by a PTC (*) heater and is then able to penetrate the holes in the silica gel wheel, thereby extracting wat-er vapour previously retained by the process sector and removing it to the out-side air. This second or reactivation air flow passes initially through a heat recovery section which minimises the heat losses between the above two sectors which can result from rotation of the rotor. This reduces the power consumption of the heater and minimizes the temperature rise of the process air flow.

When the required dry air conditions are really dry air conditions are really demanding, the process air can not be mixed with outside air which has too high a moisture content. For these demanding conditions the process and the reactivation air flows are kept separate by the use of two independent fans. With our DFRD series we can obtain very low dew point temperatures. (*) PTC –Positive Temperature Coefficient- heater or thermistor is a self regu-lating semiconductor heating element that dissipates heat according to the air flow in contact with its elements, and this relates directly to the electrical power consumption of the unit. As drying capacity is proportional to reactivation power, by increasing or decreasing the heated air flow we can regulate the drying capacity of the unit. This effect can be clearly observed on the ammeter on the front panel. Our DFRB series units are ideal for spaces where there is no duc-ted air conditioning or where the system requires additional control of air humidity.

Evaporative Air Humidifiers HEF2 Series, for Air Handling Units, HEF3 Series, for Air Ducted Systems Operating features OPERATING PRINCIPLE The operating characteristics of FISAIR series HEF2 and HEF3 are based on the natural effect of water evaporation when air stream passes over a wet surface. Air picks up water vapour which decreases the air temperature since the heat of evaporation comes from the air. This principle ensures that a gas to air mixture occurs without any liquid water being released. Only when carry over occurs, water droplets would be released to the air stream. This is the major difference between the media pad and water spray humidifiers; providing a correct air velocity or mounting integral droplets separator will handle this. MEDIA PAD FISAIR humidifiers are available with two different media pad materials: The CelPad are basically cellulose paper impregnated with chemicals to provide stability and wettability. The corrugated and cross channels configuration ensures an expanded surface in contact with the air for water evaporation, together with minimum air resistance. The material is combustible but it represents

Electro Flow linear diffuser

The Electro Flow linear diffuser is a VAV ceiling diffuser designed for a grid ceiling system. It functions as an air diffuser, a zone of temperat-ure control, and a VAV box. The Electra Flow linear (Series EFL) provides individual temperature control for cooling or heating. A wall therm-ostat that has separate cooling and heating set points with separate dolling and heating minimum and maximum damper positions. The tem-perature set point range is 55 to 85 degrees F. A supply air temperature sensor located in the mater diffuser plenum is used as a changeover switch for heating and cooling. Change over for heating occurs at supply air temperatures of 85 degrees F or greater and cooling change over occurs at supply air temperatures of 65 degrees F or less. Master and slave units are available for flexibility in zone control. This will provide constant uniform temperature within large office space or in smaller individual offices, regardless of the heat load conditions. The net result is uniform comfort and energy savings as none of the conditioned space is over or under cooled. Installation is quick and easy. Each master EFL has a six foot long 3/8" flexible conduit with 1/2 " box connector. Power consumption is 40 watts. It can be connected to a dedicated power source or to the room lighting.

"Electra-Flow Series" (EFS) diffusers

The "Electra-Flow Series" (EFS) diffusers were developed to compliment the (VFS) thermally powered diffusers. The purpose of the diffuser is to provide a wide range of installation flexibility, accuracy of electronic control, and the comfort of individual room zone control. The diffuser uses a sleeve damper unique to "Vari-Flow" products to pro-vide high levels of secondary room air induction with a minimum of primary air volu-me. This is accomplished by varying the discharge area of the diffuser. As the disch-arge area is reduced, the discharge velocity is increased to maintain a constant level of secondary air induction. This, in conjunction with the horizontal primary air dischar-ge pattern, prevents "dumping." The efficiency of the air distribution is proven by applying the diffuser to exposed duct. In this application, the diffuser will maintain a horizontal air flow pattern over the entire spectrum of air volume from full flow to close off. The efficient use of primary air ener-gy sustains secondary air movement to minimize stratification and maintain comforta-ble levels of room ventilation with minimum amount of primary air flow. The EFS24 is powered by a unique "thermal motor" that proportionately operates the damper. The "thermal motor" operates without motor windings, stators, armatures or bearings. This distinctive power source operates on the simple, basic principal of thermal expansion when a substance changes state, in this case from a liquid to a solid. The thermal motor has a proven history of reliability and long life.

SAS SQUARE The SAS Supply air square ceiling diffuser is extremely flexible and economical to install. The diffuser is suitable for most types of forced air systems in buildings utilizing T-bar ceiling systems. The SAS is adaptable for all types of ceilings, and adaptors are availible which allow for quick and easy installation. The SAS diffuser by design always, discharges the air horizontal to the ceiling, thereby, guarantee's the "coanda effect," prevents drafts, and maintains maximum secondary circulation.

TLB BI-DIRECTIONAL LINEAR DIFFUSER

The Thermal-Logic bi-directional linear slot diffuser (TLB Series) is designed for use where horizontal air flow is required for cooling and vertical air flow is required for heating. The Thermal-Logic diffuser was designed to reduce energy cost and increase the comfort level in a room. Typically, warm air in the room will rise to the ceiling and stratify. The temperature difference between the ceiling and the floor in a room can be as much as 20 degrees. The stratified heat that rises to the ceiling is largely wasted as people do not occupy that space. When in the heating mode, the Thermal-Logic diffuser, directs warm air vertically to the floor. The primary air stream discharge from the unit induces the warm stratified air at the ceiling into the stream and sends it to the lower occupied portion of the room. The net effect is that of more uniform comfort, greater consistency in room temperatures between the ceiling and the floor, and energy savings by utilizing the stratified heat to help warm the occupied portions of the room.

ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATOR (ERVS) :Hindair Energy recovery ventilators are systems that are based on the high transfer rate of cooling room the exhaust air to the incoming supply air. Rotor wheels , plate type heat exchangers or counter flow heat exchangers are used, Aluminum matrix is the key media used to recover the cooling or heating. Hindair ERV are capable of recovery sensible and latent energy from the stale exhaust air and transferring it to the fresh outside air. Our energy recovery are equipped with energy recovery wheels. Pre filter Indoor air is full of particles, and in fact, most of the mass in the particles is in the larger particles & not in the tiny pollens. In absence of a pre-filter in any Air Purifier, the high-efficiency, more expensive HEPA filters will clog up with big particles too quickly. Even though HEPA filters have a large number of pleats which gives them lots of surface area, they can fill up more quickly if the larger particles are not pre-filtered out. ULPA and HEPA filters ULPA is an acronym for "ultra-low penetration air". An ULPA filter can remove from the air at least 99.999% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria and any airborne particles with a size of 120 nanometres (0.12 micron) or larger. High-Efficiency Particulate Air or HEPA is a type of air filter. HEPA filters were originally developed by the Atomic Energy Commission to capture radioactive dust pollen. Filters that are awarded the HEPA accolade are used in various locations, whether in medical facilities, automotive vehicles, airplanes, home filters, or wherever very pure air is sought. The filter must satisfy certain standards of efficiency such as those set by the United States Department of Energy (DOE). To qualify as HEPA by government standards, an air filter must remove 99.97% of all particles greater than 0.3 micrometer from the air that passes through. HEPA filters trap small particles that may cause problems for allergy sufferers and others with health problems. Reducing or eliminating those particles will make cleaner air at your home & at your work place.

Activated carbon Carbon filtering is a method of filtering that uses a piece of activated carbon to remove contaminants and impurities, utilizing chemical adsorption. Each piece of carbon is designed to provide a large section of surface area, in order to allow contaminants the most possible exposure to the filter media. One pound (454g) of activated carbon contains a surface area of approximately 100 acres. This carbon is generally activated with a positive charge and is designed to attract negatively charged water contaminants. Carbon filtering is commonly used for water purification, but is also used in air purifiers. Carbon filters are most effective at removing chlorine, sediment, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs)

Photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) Photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) uses a titanium dioxide plate (TiO2) irradiated by intense ultraviolet light. This produces hydroxyl radicals capable of breaking down smaller particles, chemicals, and odors. These particles become either CO2 or water vapor. No filters are necessary for photocatalytic systems, however filters are usually added to capture larger particles and protect the semiconductor plate from residue b u i l d u p t h a t c a n r e d u c e e f f e c t i v e n e s s . Photocatalytic oxidation, or PCO, was developed and used in space technologies for both air and water purification. PCO involves photocatalysis, and in chemistry, this process involves the acceleration of a photoreaction in the presence of some sort of catalyst - namely catalyzed photolysis and photogenerated catalysis. While this may seem somewhat complicated, the PCO process used in PCO air purifiers is quite simple and effective, and involves the following steps: Metal surface coated with a metal light is irradiated with UV light to produce hydroxyl radicals and super-oxide ions. These radicals and ions break the molecular bonds of chemicals (such as formaldehyde and toluene) they come into contact with and slice them into smaller compounds. These compounds are then further broken down until only carbon dioxide and water vapors are left. Essentially, a PCO air purifier uses short-wave UV light to sterilize and kill up to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, and independent research has also confirmed its effectiveness in eliminating contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, mold, and VOCs.
