Capstone Report Suggested outline: 1.Abstract •Summary of project, its context, methods, major findings, future suggestions of extensions if possible. 1.Introduction & Background (Literature Review) •Introduce project area (Literature Review) •Identifies the context of the project (where & how it is applied) •Why project/problem is worth doing/solving. •Theory – existing ideas and theories associated with project 3.Design •Project Statement •Project Design (what are the research questions & how you intend to find the answers- test plan) •Method (e.g.. UCD and how you have approached each phase of the development cycle) •Deliverables •Requirements Gathering – Specifications (Personas, user profiles) •Feature analysis based on user requirements •System architecture & HCI components (sitemap, flowchart, storyboards, wireframes) 4.Technical Investigations & Experiments •Evaluation & selection of tools (software, hardware, platform) •Development of Prototype •Testing & debugging •Usability Tests •Results / Findings 5.Project Management •Project plan •Execution •Challenges / Problems •Solutions / Adaptations made to original plan 6.Conclusion •Explain results / findings
