Th�ng tin chi ti?t nhu sau: Viet-Nam Assistance for the Handicapped (VNAH) (www.vnah-hev.org ) is an international NGO based in Virginia, USA with humanitarian and developmental assistance programs in Viet Nam and Lao. Our current programs include projects supporting people with disabilities, domestic non-profit organizations, education, mine risk education and community development and relief. * Rehabilitation Specialist, 1 international position Based in Danang City (duration: 2 years) The primary responsibility of the post holder is to work with local and international partners to design and execute a program aimed at improving rehabilitation services to people with disabilities, capacity building to local health service providers and promoting transfer of rehabilitation technology and knowledge from the U.S. to Vietnam. Major responsibilities: * Support in implementation of the above program. * Support the operations of the a rehabilitation clinic in Danang and associated local health clinics in referral services, provision of rehabilitation services, evaluation of clinical outcomes and assessment of the quality of services. * Work with local and relevant partners to design and facilitate capacity building training program for local health service providers and practitioners Requirements: The incumbent position is for a Rehabilitation Specialist or Public Health Generalist, possessing a relevant medical or master of public health (MPH) degree. The post holder must possess proven experience and knowledge in public health and community-based rehabilitation services. Other specific requirements include: * At least five years of experience in program development and works related to community based rehabilitation * A broad working knowledge of the U.S. physical rehabilitation practices and community-based services. * Experience in health outreach and training programs in developing nations is desirable. * Experience in coordination of international development work is a plus. * Ability to work with a diverse population and culture. * Proficiency in spoken and written English. * Project Officer Based in Hanoi (duration: 2 years)
VNAH is recruiting a Vietnamese national to fill up a PROJECT OFFICER position, for works related to disability. The Project Officer will be responsible for all aspect of project implementation and reporting to program manager. Requirements: with university or higher degree, at least 5 years of practical experience working for local or international NGO or governmental organization in developmental issues; experience with disability work is a plus; must be fluent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
