Thanks for applying to Launchpad. In this document you will find a formal test that assesses some of your business skills and knowledge. Please read the instructions below carefully and submit a written response.

Test

The ability to assess market potential and value propositions is critical for Launchpad participants. To this end, we would like you to evaluate a relatively new business: Rota, which is a disruptive platform serving the hospitality industry. We are simply asking you to do two things: 1. Evaluate Rota’s business based on publicly available information. You should consider matters such as: a. Review the value proposition; b. Comment on the market and the market opportunity; c. Consider their customers’ needs and the extent to which Rota meet them; d. Discuss the company’s marketing activity. 2. Tell us what you would do next if you were on the Board of Rota. You are specifically instructed not to make direct contact with Rota. The assessment of entries will be based on publicly available information only.

Length of submission

Maximum of 1,000 words (excluding any tables, figures and references).
