Let us pray for the Church and for the world. Grant, Almighty God, that all who confess your Name may be united in your truth, live together in your love, and reveal your glory in the world. The Confession of Sin And now, O Father, we pray to you also for our greatest need, the forgiveness of our sins: Have mercy upon us, most merciful Father; in your compassion forgive us our sins, known and unknown, things done and left undone; and so uphold us by your Spirit that we may live and serve you in newness of life, to the honor and glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. The Peace Song of Preparation We invite you to take advantage of several opportunities during Communion.  Offerings may be placed in the offering baskets located at either side of the altar.  If you are in need of prayer, we invite you to connect with a member of our prayer team at the petition station, located to the left of the altar.  To offer prayers on behalf of others, please visit the intercession station lo cated to the left of the altar and light a candle as a way of interceding for someone in need. The Announcements Fresh Breath: A MidMid-week Experience of Taking God at His Word Please join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:30 when we gather for a time of intentional Christian growth. Make plans now to bring a friend to our current four-week session led by Pastor Kyle entitled “Stress-Free Living: How’s It Working For You?” To accompany this adult course, Miss Jessica and her team offer a host of exciting opportunities for children through 5th grade. Although we take a break this weejk for Thanksgiving, we will resume next Wednesday. Happy Birthday, Jesus! On December 9th, from 6:15 – 7:30, children through fifth grade are invited to a special birthday party to celebrate the birth of our Savior. We will meet at Calvary Church for cake, birthday party games, and a special nativity craft! Please bring a small gift to donate to a needy child. Invite your friends to join in on the fun. Children’s Christmas Pageant This year the children of Good Shepherd will present a special musical, "Oh Bethlehem," during our Christmas Eve worship gathering held at 5:30 p.m. at the YMCA.
