Hi, I'm the person Frankie was referring to. And although no one appears to want to believe it, yes I would hear identifying bits of conversations that I had previously conducted being repeated back within my hearing by strangers, although most of what I was hearing came from IM conversations as opposed to email, although there was a lot of the email included. Most of these conversations were from when I was logged on to AOL under the screen name Ray1069. Since obtaining my current account most of the things I hear still make reference to this old account, but that could very well be because I still have access to a couple of diskettes worth of IMs & emails (or at least part of the reason). How they were able to obtain this information, I really couldn't tell you other than to say what I was told my an investigator I spoke with. He said that they got it off of my hard drive and that if I'm hearing people in my immediate vincinity talking about things that I'm doing in my apartment, pretty much at the time that it's happening or immediately thereafter, then they have to have some type of surveillance/listening device in the apartment. But another investigator told me that the easiest way (translates to most convenient way, I think) for them to do it is with a "parabolic microphone" that can pick up voices from quite a distance. He offered this as an explantion as to why no matter which telephone I use, it seems that I can be overheard. Actually, I don't know if this is how, but I do know that bits of conversations that I've had recently I've seen references made to them online. I realize how this sounds, and that a lot of speech or terms my be commonly used, but having someone refer to me as "a ticking time bomb" and then seeing that phrase on this message board (just as one example) is typical of how this works. BTW, this comment was made by a neighbor of mine (this makes the third one in this building) who was outside making a scene, but I'm the one going to explode? She even threatened me, although she directed her comment to the police officer she had called to the scene instead of to me directly. She told them (the officers) "I'm going to f_ck her up. He told her to stop with the threats. I have to admit that one of Darren's posts came to mind when she said that (that in combination to some other things she said). He posted on one of the message boards here at the Sanctuary that exact quote. Don't know if he was referring to "X" or not though. If I really thought about and went back through all of my data and could probably come up with quite a compilation of "incidents". But not only do I see things on the boards, but I hear about things that are taken from this boards also. I spoke with a police officer not that long ago and explained to him exactly how one could achieve what has been done to me. He seemed to understand somewhat of what I was saying, but I don't know if he knows exactly what I mean when I say IM conversations, photos, letters, etc. I set up a scenario for him and told him how to do it step-by-step. It was at least gratifying to have him say that just because I don't know who is doing it, that it doesn't mean that it isn't happening.

I stopped participating in the discussions here, partly because of some people on the board that didn't want me here and that were saying things about me that were untrue (namely, that I am a stalker) There were also some people that were upset because I told the truth, that by simply using this medium we can be traced (if you don't believe me, talk to a criminal attorney or one that specializes in computer crime), and because I stated that if I discovered that any of the people that were bothering me were using this board to further perpetuate the stalking situation that I would sue them. For some reason, a lot of people it seems thought I wanted to sue everyone, but I was directing my comments to only those individuals who were challenging me. I would think that the rest of them would know that since I continued to post what I hoped was helpful information and to try and help in anyway that I could, that they would understand, but I guess not. Actually many of those posts were removed from the boards. There is so much stuff going on it's almost unreal. The good news is that it almost doesn't even matter anymore.
