Purpose and Description The study for Barangay Residents Record Management and Certificate Issuance System is develop to enhance the way of managing, issuing certificate and keeping all the residents confidential records. This system facilitates Barangay management by enabling the client Barangay to maintain their resident records as complete and up-to-date as possible and as easily accessible for verification, monitoring and reference purposes based on the available residents’ census data kept by the client Barangay. Data provided by this system in the form of comprehensive reports are invaluable for planning, program implementation and related purposes.

Specific Objective   

To create a module that will automate resident records and incident record of the residents To create a module that can print certificates/permits and other related records To create a module that will cater the services of the said barangay

Scope and Delimitation The scope of this system is to provide efficient, reliable, fast, accurate information to provide good quality service to secure the file of the client and to ensure the services and information are given at the right time to satisfy the needs of the client, to provide user efficient working environment and generates more output. This system provides friendly user interface resulting in knowledge each and every usability features of the system. This system also allows the barangay other related functions as those including security such as incident reporting, blotter and other related services. It provides that it maintain an updated record of residents for easy. The system prepares and prints Barangay permits and certificates like Community Tax Certificate, Barangay Clearance, and etc. It helps the client to give fast response to the user by using this system because this system have a readymade permits/certificates that the user needed. The system gives an information about the services of the barangay like for example of medical consultation by the use of this system the users can get and see the schedule and the time. Different services of barangay can be view by the user with this system they can also see some jobs opportunity that the barangay offer and also

The system is exclusively for the Barangay of Ticol. It only gives information of barangay official and their finances for every program they have is not included in the system.

Project Client The project client of this study is the Barangay Secretary of Barangay Ticol Sorsogon City. The Barangay Secretary is the one who is responsible to use the system. And also the Secretary is the one that will give reliable data for the researcher so that the system will be complete.
