www.edwardpeake.beds.sch.uk APPOINTMENT OF NEW HEADTEACHER Parents will be pleased to learn that a new headteacher for Edward Peake School was appointed last week. She is Mrs. A. Reddick, currently Deputy Headteacher at Sandye Place Middle School. Mrs. Reddick trained to teach music and has worked as Head of Music in Comprehensive schools before coming to Bedfordshire to teach at Sandye Place. She will take up her post after the Easter break, following Mr. Garraway’s retirement.

Carol Service at St Andrew’s Church 2.00 p.m. Wednesday 17th As well as inviting any parents who are able to join us, I would also remind parents that we shall be dismissing pupils from St Andrew’s Church on that afternoon. Children who are normally collected from school will need to be picked up from Church. Children who travel by bus will be collected from the Church.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YEAR FIVE! Although we had so many children suffering from the current virus outbreak, the Y5 Christmas Concert was a great success on Tuesday evening. Thanks to all the children for their excellent efforts, the year five class teachers, Mrs Mortimer, Miss Hull, Mrs Klopper, Miss Pates and Miss Bailey for their enthusiasm and hard work, and those who provided and served the mulled wine and mince pies, Mrs Mayhew, Ms Chatwin, Mrs Luckham, Mrs Devine and Mrs Larkins.
