Hangin’ Together
This year our KiDSCOR focus is on “Hangin’ Together” with our families and how we fit into God’s big family.
GPS 3rd-5th Grade
Our challenge for this week is to come up with a fun thing you can do as a family! Then — write to us on the blog at http://kidscor.blogspot.com/. We can’t wait to hear what you come up with.
READ ALL ABOUT IT!
Do you know? How well do you really know the people you in your house? Ask some questions—you might find out some really cool stuff about the people you live with! Here are some things you could ask — • Favorite subjects in school—what did your parents like and not like? What do your siblings like? Or not like at all? • What is everyone’s favorite board game? • What is everyone’s favorite scripture? • How about favorite food? Color? Sport? TV show? You can talk about these questions when your family sits down to have dinner together or while Monday: John 4:6-8 Tuesday: John 4:9-11 Wednesday: John 4:12-15 Thursday: John 4:16-20 Friday: John 4:21-26
May the Lord make your love for each other and for everyone else grow by leaps and bounds. That’s how our love for you has grown. 1 Thessalonians 3:11-13

How many words can you make using the letters in “MONKEY”? Fill the edges and blank spaces with as many as you can come up with!
Nim the Chimp was the first monkey to learn sign language. The first thing he signed was a request for a tiny pair of monkey pants. Eye contact is a sign of aggression in the monkey world and often results in an attack. A group of monkeys that lives together is called a troop.
The smallest monkey in the world is the pygmy marmoset of South America. They weigh about 5 ounces. You will see lots of monkey decorations around KiDSCOR this year as it is the animal we have chosen to go along with the theme of “Hangin’ Together”. If you would like to make a monkey to add to our décor, please drop it off in the KiDSCOR office in Denise Mersmann’s mailbox! Be sure to put your name and grade on the back!
