Visualiser – Year 2 (Art) The lesson objective: to use colour mixing. WILF: I can mix primary colours to make secondary colours. I know what colours are made when two colours are mixed together.

How the visualiser was used: Our visiting ACE artist, Caroline Sell, used the visualiser to demonstrate to the children how to mix primary colours to make secondary colours. The benefits of the visualiser: • The children were able to see an instant transformation in colour. • The demonstration was projected from the visualiser through to the IWB so that all the children could see at the same time. This made comprehension quicker and behaviour disruption minimal.
