The Integration of Human in the Aquaponics and Soil Method in Crops GROUP 1 B6 DE LOS REYES, VANN B12 JAVIER, CEDRIC B18 NAYLE, ADRIAN B27 SEVILLANO, ROBIN

I. Introduction There are million of Filipino families who are suffering from hunger, in which it is one of the biggest problem in the Philippines. One of the reasons of this is because of the weather that we are experiencing in our country El Niño, La Niña, and of course the climate change that causes the crops and other food to spoil. However, there is still another way to prevent poverty not only by encouraging people but also with the help of agriculture. One of that agriculture is Aquaponics that can help us a lot to decrease the number of poor people in our country.

II. Position Statement Aquaponics is a way to grow fish and plant but in a limited phase, furthermore using this in producing a plant you will not be needed fertilizer to help the plant grow because the fish will provide what the plant needed, it also grow faster because they get very nutritious substances from the waste of the fish,(JD Sawyer. n.d). Aquaponics can produce easily plants like vegetables that could help in a fast food production (W.B. Wan Nik ,2011) So the research conclude that there are positive and negative effects in using Aquaponics so there should be a balance on using a Aquaponics and in planting using the soil method.

III. Solution and Recommendation

The use of Aquaponics should have a control over, because not all the fast production will be helpful in creating a good result. Because there should be a control on each production, everything should be manage on how many plants should be needed to be harvest so there would be no waste production. However aquaponics contributes many things in the environment and the people living in it.

Solution and Recommendation This can also create a job for everyone because basically it has more focus on agricultural things so it can also be a good advantage to decrease the numbers of poor people living not only in our country but on the whole world. Aquaponics can also provide a great income to us. With the help of aquaponics, it can also produce more resources that can be useful to us and for the environment. But we still need to be careful in using aquaponics as the resources of our food.
