Dear Ministry Partner, As you can see from the picture above, I am fitting right in with CMDA! Why was I in scrubs you may be asking? It’s because last week I was in Honduras on a Medical Mission trip with CMDA in the city of Tela. I was in scrubs one afternoon because I had the opportunity to observe several of our doctors perform operations for Hondurans who were in desperate need of important medical care. Our team of doctors, medical students, VBS and logistical volunteers had an opportunity to minister in Tela, Honduras from March 21-29. During our time there, our doctors performed surgery at the local hospital and our team saw over 1,200 men, women and children at the clinic. We provided medical care for 50 prisoners at the city prison and we had over 140 people visit our dentists. Our VBS team visited with over 2,100 children at local schools, exposing them to the Gospel. Also, with the help of local churches doing evangelism at the clinic, over 150 people indicated a decision for Christ! Remember behind every number is a name—a person who has been impacted by the love of Jesus through hands and feet of mercy and the message of God’s wonderful grace. Praise God for what He did in Tela last month! Thank you so much for your many prayers and financial gifts that make it possible for us to make trips like this to Honduras and places around the world. Without your partnership in ministry, people wouldn’t have found the much needed healing and care last week or have heard about the love of Jesus. On their behalf, thank you so very much.
