How it was possible that an integrated development was planned and enhanced, on the basis of the valorisation of the local resources, such as tourism (cultural heritage, ceramic arts and crafts) and agriculture (fruit), and the promotion and implementation of vertical chains of value.

c)

How common services to all the municipalities of the valley can be more efficiently delivered and managed, with particular reference to the waste management.

c)

The commitment of the Libyan delegation to provide follow up to the visit.

At this stage, UNDP-AGM will offer support services to the local communities of both sides, international technical assistance to local population, administrations and national governments in order to increase the impact of the cooperation activities, the internationalisation of local economic development, cultural linkages, and the role of the local actors, who are the engine of development, provided they can work together for identifying and solving their main problems, and utilising all the existing endogenous potentialities for sustainable development. AGM will concentrate its effort to define the framework and the feasibility study for the setup of the Regional Economic Development Agencies.
