A

A straight path that starts from a point and goes towards horizon is a ray . Here ray is : AB

LINE A

B

A line is also a strait path that can be increased on both sides to horizon. Here line is XY

Difference between line and a ray A ray can b extended on one side only but a line can b extended on both sides.

ANGLES 



Angle: An angle is formed bye two rays that start from one point. Here ABC is an angle. We right name of angle like ABC where vertex is written in centre.

ANGLES When a ray does not move then angle = 0°

ANGLES Angles are measured in degree when we start moving a ray which again ends at same point contains 360°

Straight angle When a ray complete semi circle it is called straight angle .Its measure is 180°

Right Angle When a ray moves one fourth of a circle it is called right angle . Its degree measure is 90°. XYZ is right angle. x
