KEVIN D. ANDERSON Biographical Information Kevin Anderson is a partner in the National Tax Services Office of BDO Seidman, LLP, where his practice is focused in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, S corporations, C corporations, consolidated returns, capitalization and cost recovery, and related tax accounting issues. He has advised C and S corporation clients for many years in their formation, conversion, operations, compliance, reorganization, and sale. He serves as Chair of the firm’s Corporate Tax and S Corporation Tax Consulting Groups, and is also a member of its Tax Quality Control Committee. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Treasury Department Office of Tax Policy, most recently as an associate tax legislative counsel, from 1995 through 1998. He also has law firm and Big Four public accounting experience, and has recently served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law School. Effective in August 2009, he was elected to a three-year term on the Council of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation. He had previously served as Chair of its Tax Accounting Committee and its Capital Recovery and Leasing Committee, and as a Vice Chair of its Pro Bono Committee. He also serves in a variety of other roles in the Section. He is a member of the S Corporations Technical Resource Panel of the Tax Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Anderson received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School, and a B.B.A. degree from the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is licensed as a certified public accountant in the States of Wisconsin and Maryland and the District of Columbia. Contact Information: Kevin D.
