Amendment 1 The first Amendment is freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition

Amendment 2 The second Amendment is right of the state to keep a well regulated militia, and also the right of the citizens to bear arms

Amendment 3 The third Amendment is no quartering soldiers without your consent

Amendment 4 The fourth Amendment is protection against unreasonable search and seizure

Amendment 5 The Fifth Amendment is rights of the accused: not to be deprived of life, liberty, property without due process, no double jeopardy, and no self incrimination

Amendment 6 The sixth Amendment is the right to a speedy trial, the right to have an attorney, and the right to confront witnesses

Amendment 7 The seventh Amendment is the right to trial by jury in legal cases including divorce or wills, for more than $20

Amendment 8 The eighth Amendment is no cruel and unusual punishments, and no excessive fines or bail

Amendment 9 The ninth Amendment is to protect people’s rights not specifically said in the Constitution

Amendment 10 The tenth Amendment is powers not given to the federal government are given to the state
