Professional Experience: Fixed Sample Design (FSD): Software product is designed to perform Statistical Analysis. Responsibilities: • Developed statistical programs for Multiple Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Probit Regression. • Integrated features like, modeling with by variable, Modeling with interaction and factored covariates. • Automated testing of the Regression module for large number of datasets. • Used SAS Procedures: PROC REG, PROC GLM, PROC LOGISTIC, and PROC PROBIT, FREQ. • The implementation was done in Managed C++ in .NET framework 3.5, Visual Studio 2008. Accrual Simulation: proprietary software to simulate the patients’ arrival in different center across different countries, which are used in forecasting analysis and optimizing the total cost of the clinical trial. • Developed the engines for simulation of patients’ arrival in different centers across all countries. • Optimized the simulation using parallel processing and dynamic scheduling. • Created the UML design documentation for the codes developed by me. Interest Rate Modeling in Vasicek Framework: • Studied Stochastic Differential Equation, Ito Integrals and Stochastic Calculus and their application to finance. • Mathematically analyzed Vasicek Model defining short-term interest rate and application in pricing bonds. • Estimated the parameters in the Model along with simulation and pricing bonds in flat term structure. • Developed a handy tool for estimation and pricing of bonds in C++ and Matlab. Financial Distress Classification and Bankruptcy Prediction using Artificial Neural Network: • Implemented an Artificial Neural Network model for Classification of financially distressed companies. • Compared to output obtained using Logistic Regression & Discriminant Analysis.
