‫م َّ‬ ‫ري ٍ ۬‬ ‫وَإِن ڪُنتُمۡ فِى َ ۡ‬ ‫ما‬ ‫ب ِّ‬ ‫زلنَا عَلَىٰ عَبۡدِنَا‬ ‫ن َ َّ ۡ‬ ‫ْ‬ ‫مثۡ ل ِ ِهۦ ـ‬ ‫من‬ ‫رة‬ ‫۬‬ ‫سو‬ ‫ب‬ ‫ِّ‬ ‫فَأۡ تُوا ِ ُ ٍَ ِّ‬ ‫ْ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫من‬ ‫م‬ ‫َك‬ ‫ء‬ ‫ا‬ ‫د‬ ‫ه‬ ‫ش‬ ‫َوٱدــۡعُوا‬ ‫ِّ‬ ‫ََ َ‬ ‫ن ٱلل ّهِ إِن‬ ‫دُو ِ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ق‬ ‫د‬ ‫صـ‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫م‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫نت‬ ‫ين‬ ‫ك ُ‬ ‫َ ِ ِ َ‬ ‫‪Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail‬‬

Provides two outstanding challenges “And if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to our servant, then produce a Surah like thereunto ; and call your witness or helpers (if there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true” (Surah al-Baqarah : 23) Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail

‫! ‪None can produce the like of it‬‬

‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ن أن‬ ‫َا‬ ‫ء‬ ‫قر‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ا‬ ‫ذ‬ ‫ـ‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫ه‬ ‫ن‬ ‫ا‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َُ‬ ‫ما ك َ‬ ‫وَ َ‬ ‫ن ٱلل ِّ‬ ‫ه‬ ‫فت َ َ ٰ‬ ‫يُ ۡ‬ ‫رى ِ‬ ‫من دُو َ ِ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ب‬ ‫ى‬ ‫ذ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ق‬ ‫ي‬ ‫د‬ ‫ص‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ت‬ ‫ن‬ ‫ـك‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫و‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ب لَ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ـ‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫ت‬ ‫لك‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫صي‬ ‫يَدَيۡهِ وَت َ ۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ف ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ب‬ ‫ب فِيهِ ِ‬ ‫من َّر ِّ‬ ‫َريۡ َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫مي‬ ‫ـل‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫ع‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫‪Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail‬‬

None can produce the like of it ! “This Qur’an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah. On the contrary it is a confirmation of revelations that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book wherein there is no doubt from the Lord of the Universe” (Surah Yunus : 37) Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail

‫! ‪No inconsistencies in it‬‬

‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ن‌ۚ‬ ‫ن ٱ لۡ ُ‬ ‫قرۡءَا َ‬ ‫أفَل يَتَدَب ُّرو َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫و‬ ‫ير‬ ‫غ‬ ‫د‬ ‫عن‬ ‫من‬ ‫ن‬ ‫ا‬ ‫ك‬ ‫و‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َّ‬ ‫ٱللهِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫را‬ ‫فا ڪَثِي ً ۬‬ ‫ختِل َ ٰـ ً۬‬ ‫جدُوا ْ فِيهِ ٱ ۡ‬ ‫و‬ ‫ل َ َ‬ ‫)‪(Surah An-Nisa’ : 82‬‬ ‫‪Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail‬‬

No inconsistencies in it ! “Do they not consider the Qur’an with care ? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy” (Surah An-Nisa’ : 82)

It replies to accusations made against it : “The author seems to know the critics and the criticism that will be hurled at this Book. He provides responses to them within the Book itself.”

‫”! ‪If they say “Muhammad wrote it‬‬

‫ْ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫من قبۡ ل ِ ِهۦ‬ ‫وا‬ ‫تل‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ت‬ ‫ت‬ ‫ن‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ما ك َ َ‬ ‫وَ َ‬ ‫ب۬‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫من كِتَـٰ ٍ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫مين ِ َ‬ ‫ك‌ۖ ً۬إ ِاذ‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ب‬ ‫ۥ‬ ‫ه‪ ‬‬ ‫خط‬ ‫ت‬ ‫ل‬ ‫وَ َ َ ُ ُ ِ َ ِ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫ب ٱلۡ ُ ۡ‬ ‫لٱ ۡ‬ ‫مبطِلو َ‬ ‫رـتَا َ‬ ‫ت۬ فِى‬ ‫بَلۡ هُوَ َءَايَـٰ ُ‬ ‫تۢ ُبَي ِّنَـٰ ٌ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫م‬ ‫ن أوتُوا ْ ٱ ۡل َعِ ۡل َ ‌ۚ‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ذ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ور‬ ‫د‬ ‫ص‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫‪Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail‬‬

If they say “Muhammad wrote it !” “And thou was not able to recite a book before this (Book came) nor art thou (able to) transcribe it with thy right hand. In that case, indeed would the talkers of vanities have doubted. Nay, here are Signs, self-evident in the hearts of those endowed with knowledge. And none but the unjust reject Our Signs” (Surah Ankabut : 47) Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail

‫‪If they say “Why didn’t God sent‬‬ ‫”? ‪the Book all at once‬‬

‫َ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫فُروا ْ لَوَۡل‬ ‫ن كَ َ‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ذ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬ ‫وَق‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫نُّزِ َ‬ ‫ل عَل ۡيهِ ٱ ۡل ُ ۡ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫قرءَا ُ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ح ۬‌ًۚدَةڪ ََذٲلـ ِكَ‬ ‫جمل ً۬‬ ‫ُ ۡ‬ ‫ة َوٲ ِـ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ك‬ ‫ت ب ِ ِهۦ ـفُؤَاد َ َ ‌ۖ‬ ‫ب‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫لِنُث ِ َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ه تَرۡ ت ِ ً۬يل‬ ‫ـ‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫لن‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫وََرت ّ َ ُ‬ ‫‪Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail‬‬

If they say “Why didn’t God sent the Book all at once ?” “Those who reject Faith say : ‘Why is not the Qur’an revealed to him all at once ?’ Thus is it revealed that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We rehearsed it to thee in slow well-arranged stages, gradually” (Surah Al-Furqan : 32) Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail

‫! ‪If they say “An Arabic Qur’an‬‬ ‫”? ‪Why in Arabic‬‬

‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ميً‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ج ّ۬ ِا‬ ‫ع‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫أ‬ ‫ا‬ ‫َان‬ ‫ء‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ق‬ ‫ه‬ ‫ـ‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫لن‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ع‬ ‫ج‬ ‫و‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ً‬ ‫َ‬ ‫وَل َ َ َ َ ُ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ْ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ل َ‬ ‫صلتۡ‬ ‫قالوا لوۡل ف ِّ‬ ‫ى‬ ‫ى وَعََرب ِ ٌّ ۬‌ۗ‬ ‫م ٌّ ۬‬ ‫ه‪ ‬ۥۤ‌ۖ ء ۠ ۡ‬ ‫ج ِ‬ ‫َاع َ َ‬ ‫ءَاي َ ٰـت ُ ُ‬ ‫منُواْ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫َا‬ ‫ء‬ ‫ن‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ذ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ل‬ ‫و‬ ‫ه‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ق‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫فآء‬ ‫ش َ ٌ۬‌ۖ‬ ‫هُد ى وَ ِ‬ ‫ً۬‬ ‫)‪(Surah Ha Mim Sajda : 44‬‬ ‫‪Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail‬‬

If they say “An Arabic Qur’an ! Why in Arabic ?” “Had We sent down a Qur’an (in a language) other than Arabic, they would have said : ‘Why are not its verses explained in detail ? What ! (a book) not in Arabic and (a messenger) an Arab ?’ Say : ‘It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe” (Surah Ha Mim Sajda : 44) Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail

If they say “An Arabic Qur’an ! Why in Arabic ?”

ٓ َ ‫ب‬ ٰ ‫ـ‬ ‫ت‬ ‫لك‬ ۡ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ت‬ ٰ ‫ـ‬ ‫َاي‬ ‫ء‬ ‫ك‬ ۡ ‫ل‬ ‫ت‬ ‫ر‬ ‌ ۚ ِ ‫ال‬ ُ َ ِ َِ ‫ن‬ ‫ي‬ ‫مب‬ ۡ ‫ل‬ ‫ٱ‬ ِ ُ ِ َ ٓ َ ً‫رب ِاي‬ ّ۬ َ َ ‫ر َٲء نـًا ع‬ ۡ ُ‫ه ق‬ ‫ـ‬ ٰ ‫زلن‬ ۡ ‫ن‬ ‫أ‬ ‫ا‬ ّ ‫إِن‬ ُ َ َ َ َ ُ ّ ّ ُ ۡ ۡ ‫ل‬ ‫ع‬ ‫ن‬ ‫و‬ ‫قل‬ ‫ع‬ ‫ت‬ ‫م‬ ‫ك‬ ِ َ َ َ ‫ل‬ Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail

If they say “An Arabic Qur’an ! Why in Arabic ?” “ Alif, Lam Ra - These are symbols of the perspicuous Book. We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an in order that you may learn Wisdom” (Surah Yusuf : 1) Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail

If they say “Muhammad received it from the Devil (Satan) !”

َ َ َ ّ ‫ن‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ط‬ ‫ـ‬ ٰ ‫شي‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ه‬ ‫ب‬ ‫ت‬ ۡ ‫زل‬ ِ ِ ّ َ ‫ما تَن‬ َ َ‫و‬ ُ ِ َ َ ‫ما‬ ۡ ُ‫ما ي َ ۢنبَغِى له‬ َ َ‫م و‬ َ َ‫و‬ ‫ن‬ ۡ َ‫ي‬ َ ‫ستَطِيعُو‬ (Surah ash-Shuara : 210-211) Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail

If they say “Muhammad received it from the Devil (Satan) !”

“No evil ones have brought down this (revelation). It would neither suit them nor would they be able to produce it !” (Surah ash-Shuara : 210-211) Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail

‫”! ‪If they say : “It is a fraud‬‬

‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ز‬ ‫ـ‬ ‫ت‬ ‫ك‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ه‪ ‬‬ ‫ب عَزِي ٌ ۬‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫ۥ‬ ‫َِ ٌ‬ ‫وَإِن ّ ُ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ب‬ ‫من‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ط‬ ‫ـ‬ ‫لب‬ ‫ه‬ ‫ي‬ ‫أت‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ۢ‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫خل‬ ‫من‬ ‫ل‬ ‫فهۦ‌ۖ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ِِ‬ ‫يَدَيۡهِ وَ ِ‬ ‫ٌ‬ ‫ميد‬ ‫ح ِ ٍ۬‬ ‫يم‬ ‫حك‬ ‫من‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫يل‬ ‫تَنزِ ۬ ِّ‬ ‫َ ِ ٍ َ‬ ‫)‪(Surah Fussilat : 41-42‬‬ ‫‪Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail‬‬

If they say : “It is a fraud !” “And indeed it is a Book of exalted power. No falsehood can approach it from before or behind. It is sent down by One full of Wisdom, worthy of praise” (Surah Fussilat : 41-42) Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail

If they say : “It is a fraud !”

ٓ ُ ُ ُ‫ما ي ُ ۡبدِئ‬ ‫و‬ ‫ق‬ ‫ح‬ ‫ل‬ ۡ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ء‬ َ ‫جا‬ ‫ل‬ ۡ ‫ق‬ َ َ َ َ ّ ُ ِ ‫ٱ ۡلبَـٰط‬ ُ ‫ما يُعِيد‬ َ َ‫ل و‬ (Surah Saba’ : 49) Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail

If they say : “It is a fraud !” “Say : ‘Truth has arrived, and falsehood neither creates anything new, nor restores anything” (Surah Saba’ : 49)

‫َ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫و‬ ‫قول‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ي‬ ‫م‬ ‫ه‬ ‫ن‬ ‫أ‬ ‫م‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫عل‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫قد‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫وَل‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ ُ ُّ َ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ر‬ ‫ه‪ ‬ۥ ب َش ٌ ۬‌ۗ‬ ‫م ُ‬ ‫ما يُعَل ِ ُ‬ ‫إِن ّ َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫ه‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫إ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫و‬ ‫د‬ ‫ح‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ۡ‬ ‫ي‬ ‫ى‬ ‫ذ‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ٱ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫سا‬ ‫لِ َ ُ َ ِ ُ ِ ُ َ ِ ِ‬ ‫ى‬ ‫م ٌّ ۬‬ ‫أ ۡ‬ ‫ج ِ‬ ‫ع َ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ن‬ ‫ي‬ ‫مب‬ ‫ى‬ ‫۬‬ ‫رب‬ ‫ع‬ ‫ن‬ ‫سا‬ ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬ ‫ذ‬ ‫ـ‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫ه‬ ‫و‬ ‫ٌ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ٌ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ّ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ٌ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ ّ‬ ‫‪Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail‬‬

If they say : “He may have learnt it from a Jew or a Christian !”

What does the Qur’an say ? “We created man from a quintessence (gentle extraction) of clay; We then placed him as a drop (nutfah) in a place of rest firmly fixed; then We made the drop into an “alaqah” (leech-like); and then We change the “alaqah” into “mudghah” (chewed-like substance); then We made out of that “mudghah” bones (‘izam); then We clothed the bones with flesh (‘lahm); then We developed out of it another creation. What did the Prophet say ? “When forty-two nights have passed over the Nutfah (i.e. the zygote) Allah sends an angel to it, who shapes it and make its ears, skin, flesh and bones. Then the angel says ‘O Lord ! Is it male or female ?’ And your Lord decide what He wishes and then the angel records it.” (Hadith reported by Muslim in Kitab al-Qadr) Ustaz Zhulkeflee Hj Ismail
