Are you ready for real change?

Our nation was founded without political parties. Parties arose, and today’s two-party system is broken.

Would you like a real choice?

A new U.S. political party began in June 2008 and is already the third largest in number of registered voters. It is called America’s Independent Party (AIP).

Are you tired of politicians who

AIP is a party based on the principles that this nation was founded on. AIP’s purpose? The same as the stated purpose of the U.S. Constitution: “To secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.”

make big promises but don’t explain how they’re going to pay for them? Politicians who reward large businesses for irresponsible behavior? Politicians who have pushed the U.S. national debt past $10 trillion, most of it owed to foreigners? As the proverb says, “the borrower is servant to the lender.” By spending money irresponsibly, our government is mortgaging our future. Are you tired of politicians who have supported policies that have made us more than 60% dependent on foreign oil, endangered our national security, and pushed the price of gasoline to record highs—policies that restrict using our own natural resources such as the oil in ANWR? Are you tired of politicians who put pandering ahead of principle, self-power ahead of serving the citizens, expediency ahead of the long-term well-being of the people? Are you tired of politicians who seem to be devoid of the moral values upon which this great nation was founded?

A new political party—already #3

AIP is pro-life and pro-liberty and unswervingly supports a strong and secure America. Along with the signers of the Declaration of Independence, AIP believes in the following self-evident truths: • •

All men are created equal. Our unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness come from our Creator. Just government can exist only by the consent of the governed.

A time of moral crisis The United States of America has not always been a nation where students massacre their fellow students. Today we are afflicted by the culture of death. In 2006, following a series of school shootings, Brian Rohrbough, whose son Danny was murdered at Columbine High School in 1999, said, “This country is in a moral free-fall. For over two generations, the public school system has taught in a moral vacuum, expelling God from the school and from the government, replacing him with evolution, where the strong

kill the weak, without moral consequences and life has no inherent value.” He continued, “We teach there are no absolutes, no right or wrong. And I assure you the murder of innocent children is always wrong, including by abortion. Abortion has diminished the value of children.” Since America’s first legalized abortion law was signed in 1967, 50 million babies have been killed. Each year an additional 1.1 million are slaughtered. As a result of Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton, issued in 1973 by five Republican judges and two Democratic judges, abortion is now legal during all nine months of pregnancy. The God-ordained institutions of marriage and family are under attack. Few politicians are willing to take a strong, principled stand to defend marriage and family.

Alan Keyes for President Florida voters will find Alan Keyes on the ballot for President as the AIP candidate; his candidacy inspired the establishment of America’s Independent Party of Florida; Brian Rohrbough, President of American Right to Life, is the candidate for Vice President. Alan Keyes was a statesman during the Reagan administration and commended by that President. A stalwart defender of life, liberty, and America’s security and sovereignty under God’s recognized authority and sovereignty, Alan Keyes is the only presidential candidate who has truly and completely addressed America’s current needs. Obama supports the Freedom of Choice Act, which would void virtually all federal and state pro-life laws. As a state senator in Illinois he opposed a measure to give medical care to prematurely born babies who survive botched abortions. See www.bornalivetruth.org. See “Is States' Rights A Position Or Evasion?” at www2.tbo.com/content/2008/jul/28/na-is-states-rights-a-position-orevasion/news-politics. McCain supports abortion in cases involving rape, incest, or the life of the mother. See www.ontheissues.org/Senate/John_McCain_Abortion.htm. McCain supports embryonic stem cell research on embryos left over from in vitro fertilization, not created specifically for research. See www.johnmccain.com/ Informing/Issues/95b18512-d5b6-456e-90a2-12028d71df58.htm and “The other Republican platform.” See “Biden’s Denial of Same-Sex Marriage Support at Odds with Obama’s Record” and Senator Obama’s Floor Statement. In 2006, McCain was one of only three Republican senators to vote against defining marriage between one man and one woman. See “8 reasons I won't vote for John McCain” and “John McCain on Civil Rights.” Following the lead of Canadian lawmakers, Obama supports "hate-crime" legislation giving special protection to homosexuals. In Canada, certain portions of Scripture can no longer be read on radio or TV, because that would be considered "hate speech." See the FRC “Special Publication.” Web site. McCain sponsored the McCain-Feingold restrictions on freedom of speech, which became law in 2002. McCain refused to support the right of military chaplains to pray in Jesus' name. See www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=59187. See “On the Second Amendment, Don’t Believe Obama!” by the NRA (www.nraila.org/Legislation/Federal/Read.aspx?id=3991). McCain says that he supports gun ownership rights. However, that position stands in contrast with his voting record and his previous statements. See “Obama accepts offshore drilling,” “Barack Obama on Energy and Oil” and “McCain Reiterates Opposition to Drilling in Wildlife Refuge.” Although McCain says that he will appoint strict constructionist judges, that seems unlikely. Strict constructionist judges would overturn McCain-Feingold, a law written by McCain that clearly violates freedom of speech guaranteed by the First Amendment.
